Ours says 24 , but it feels loads warmer. Im not good in the heat anyway.

31 downstairs and 35 upstairs. I am over this now

Maybe the contact napping is helping your body regulate their body temperature?

Oh also we have no air conditioning and I cooked with the fan oven on about an hour ago too! 😮

Amazon have just delivered a pack of 5 evaporation cooling towels. I've got one wrapped round my head like a 40s factory worker and it's bliss

Wowsers. It’s been nearer to 35 here today. My north facing living room is currently 27.7. South facing bedroom is 28.

North facing upstairs bedroom with fan full on 31.9. Downstairs hall thermostat is showing 28.1. Outside reached 35 today in the shade.

29c in our sitting room . My JRT has the fan on full blast in front of her as she has had all day !She is lying beside her cooler mat !

It's currently 27.6° downstairs and 29.8° upstairs. It's been getting gradually hotter in here all day. But it's cooler than outside, which is now 31° in the shady parts of the garden.

When the temperature outside falls below 27°, I'll open the doors and windows, but not until then, otherwise I'll just be making it hotter inside! It will be probably not be cool enough till about 11.00pm tonight I think. Today has been much hotter than yesterday.

32 upstairs. 3rd tropical night in a row, 3rd night on the sofa and come to stay with son as too hot for the dog in my flat.

27 in our living room, blinds closed and fan on all day

30 degrees inside...28 outside!! Hotter in the house!

32 downstairs and 33.5 upstairs.
Yesterday was 33.5 downstairs and well over in the bedrooms. Dropped to 28 at night.
It's only bareable if you don't move from in front of a fan (the kids don't seem to care for that though)

Midlothian. My livingroom is 26 my bedroom is 28. My house gets ridiculously hot, I’ve not long opened up all the windows and the breeze is much cooler than it has been.
forecast for thunderstorms later on and I cannot wait, it’s been oppressively hot the last few days.

I used to put a damp muslin inbetween us. It helps a little with cooling and stops your skin from sticking together.

31.5 - we're in a bungalow - goodness knows how hot it would be if we were upstairs in a house! I don't like it 😫

28 at the moment, it's massively cooled down in the last hour though I've all the windows open upstairs trying to create a wind through the bedrooms to cool them down. Cannot wait for this storm.

Definitely no air conditioning....im not sure it would even work in a kitchen with grills and 4 ovens? We are illegally proping open the fire escape door lets hope food inspector dosent turn up...

It’s an old stone building with very thick walls. We’ve had the windows and south facing blinds closed all day.

27.5. I'm in the south east but I have a cool flat with no carpets.
