Interesting....I just caught the very end of this on the live feed but it appears that the scaffolding team has been moved outside the portable rail barriers by a couple of security staff.

No stay has been issued, judge refused to issue one. I wonder if Scrotus' hand picked BoD is taking matters into their own hands in defiance of the judge. The Appeals Court has not issued a decision yet.

So, based on AI, the letters were affixed using drills. So hopefully will be quick to remove. I wonder what they do about the holes? Use marble plugs?

Not quite on same scale but had to fill some drill holes on the outside of my house and used a weatherproof filler that could be sanded down - I was quite proud of the results

Seem to be a lot of workers wearing hi-viz standing around doing eff all... scaffolders... C'est la vie! 😁

They need more scaffolding to reach all the letter surely?

They seem to be building scaffolding away from the trump lettering. Are they going to take the JFK letting down as well? ( wouldn’t put it past him)

I think they will have a high-level walkway with three support-towers rather than a single tower the width of the letters. The bigger the footprint, the less chance anything will topple, I suspect.

They could do with a couple of ladders and some planks as well.

Last scaffolders we used when we replaced the roof had the house sorted in less than an hour.

They remind me of a joke somewhere in the recesses of my mind about how many scaffolders it takes to change a light bulb, but I can’t quite make the connection, currently.

I make it six on the scaff and seven on the floor. Maybe they don't want ever to risk thirteen on the scaff all at once.

I hope they'll get hazard pay; there are probably some Magamorons who'd like to shoot them for this act of bravery or vandalism, depending on your viewpoint.
