Holidays, gardens, Grandchildren. On and on it goes.

So weary of it.
Reading too much as I'm unwell.

Depends how often you do it. None stop 'being proud' is a bit eye rolly. But you eye roll and move on.

But if someone is posting constantly on SM and its annoying someone else then its really on them to mute/unfollow them isnt it?

You cant police the world and you cant police what other people choose to post on their own social media. There are several people I find annoying but I cant control what they post so I choose not to view their posts.

For the life of me I dont understand why anyone would constantly keep viewing something that irritates them- its nonsensical

That's what I said. You eye roll and move on. The OP is getting annoyed enough about it to post a thread.

Unless someone wants you to watch various videos of a kid you've never met on their phone. Never quite figured out a way to avoid getting snared completely.

But that's a different ball game.

I do think its a personality type you're either a jealous unhappy person or happy positive person who is greatful for what they have and don't begrudge others

Totally agree. You are either the personality type that is grateful for what you have and kind to others or the type that engages in schadenfreude. The irony is these people do generally brag by their definition and hate not being queen bee. They also claim their lives are better but don't see the irony in that and seem to think if they say they aren't bragging its one rule for them, they can say things but no-one else can. People happy with their lives are kind to others and not judgemental ime. See there's now a TAAT. How sad to get upset about a child doing a sport. What pasttimes are allowed? Its not a race to the bottom.

I think Labour need to really double down on taxing people if they can afford exotic holidays.

I kind of get what you mean OP.
When I was a child, my mum used to tell me that bragging and showing off was rude and bad mannered. I think I’ve always just been stuck with that mindset because I find it so odd how much people brag nowadays.
I guess it’s just a different world to the one I grew up in.

Correct. God help me if I was deemed to be " showing off"

It is a different world.

Get yourself a pot of tea, light a candle and rewatch Practical Magic. You will feel better.
