HBO Harry Potter series trailer!

I can't see any other threads about this somehow. The first trailer was released this evening for the new HBO Harry Potter series. I am buzzing with excitement! What do you think of it?

Yes, Dan and especially Emma were bad, weren't they! I know with something like this that's always a risk, but even in that context you wonder how they were considered the best ones.

I was thinking exactly that yesterday! Given the amount of kids that auditioned it's amazing they were deemed the best. Really not sure why they chose Dan over Tom for the lead role. I didn't think Dan was too bad in David Copperfield to be fair and he's come a long way since then but I still find Emma Watson's adult acting unbearable to watch.

Yeah he's better than he was. He's never going to be a great actor, but there's an improvement curve at least. Which isn't very high praise for someone in that position is it!

I'm guessing this series will send Watson and Radcliffe's portrayals into the bin.

His parents are agents aren't they? Not plucked from nowhere for sure.

I found the younger girl and boy in the faraway tree pretty bad.
