As far as EV owners feeling a bit 'smug', so are Hybrid owners. When I last gassed up at Costco in late February I paid 4.39/gal. Today's price at the Costco pump is 5.15/gal. This is CA where we pay higher fuel taxes so the CA average is 5.65 vs national average is 3.80/gal. All prices are USD. I get around 562 miles per tank. Barring unforeseen circumstances I won't have to gas my Prius until the end of March.

How would that work? The WH is now saying that regime change was never the intention, it was to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. (Pull the other one!)

But the solution to the mess created is to allow Iran to sell O&G ... the proceeds of which could then be used to finance:
A. Rebuilding their nuclear capability (after all the US did claim that Iran was weeks away from building a nuclear weapon in spite of having their facilities obliterated a few months earlier)
B. Restocking their missiles and drones
C. A war of attrition
D. The houtis etc

If I were the Iranians, I would now make a deal with North Korea to hire their hacking experts and Ukraine battle experienced, drone-dodging troops in anticipation of any troops on the ground scenario by the US.😈
