And why is it Legend?

Gutted that he is injured but glad he is still popping up and doing funny bits.

Cyclone is the best female gladiator, obviously. Just incredible.

Legend is a legend. He is sooo good they need to have skits with him whilst he's injured or people would be disappointed he's not there.

purpleme12 · 28/02/2026 20:26

I would definitely be disappointed if he wasn't there

PearlsTeapot · 01/03/2026 18:04

I love Legend popping up while he's injured, he's too funny to just not have in the show, I'd miss him!

Fury is my fave. She's so strong and stunning and a great role model.

Binge watching series 3 on iplayer.

Does anyone else think that once one contender has made it up the travelator and won, they slow it down for the second contender so they can finish?

Watching the Ellie/Naomi QF and I swear it was much slower on Ellie’s second run up after Naomi had made it through the paper.

guinnessguzzler · 08/03/2026 20:01

Yes, I think they do sometimes slow it down on their second try, either if they've already lost or perhaps even sometimes if both of them are struggling to complete it at all.

Thought last night's episode was a bit meh, not sure why, although Legend's bit was up to standard, of course.

noblegiraffe · 08/03/2026 20:02

No one ever fails to complete the eliminator however knackered they are. They definitely slow it down! Like they gave the ladder to that woman who kept falling off.

Good point. If the Eliminator has a 100% success rate, does that mean if I had a shot I could do it?! Don't answer that, having seen that poor one with the ladder nearly break her back trying to jump up to get to the monkey bars (or was that a differentone), I am confident I do not meet the height requirements never mind the question of fitness!

DairyMilkFreeZone · 08/03/2026 20:29

I'm not convinced I could get up it without it moving at all. But id really want a go

noblegiraffe · 08/03/2026 21:29

We could practise by trying to run up an escalator the wrong way.

I liked yesterday's episode, thought the women were really good!

I would pay good money to try the Eliminator. They should definitely look at letting people have a go when the series isn't filming, it would be so popular!

purpleme12 · 08/03/2026 21:55

There is the Gladiators Experience this year at Birmingham NEC
It says it's got the Eliminator as well as other events to do
So you can do it now!

Returning to this thread as I’ve just watched the Grand Final of series 3 (late due to illness).

Does anyone else think Tyler was robbed by Mark Clattenburg on the balance beam - his foot did touch the red zone at the end before he fell off? I’ve seen other contestants touch the red bit and jump straight off - how was that different? He could have won!!

I know I should have been supporting Josh as a fellow Scot but he was just so damn serious about it all. Tyler was more fun.

Iocanepowder · 10/04/2026 06:33

I’ve tried the travelator at the end of a 10k fun run and it’s a lot harder than it looks!

Also prob because I am 5ft and unfit.

Edited

I think it was because he kind of threw his foot at it as he fell off rather than actually standing on it and jumping off. I thought it was a fair decision when I saw it.

Justice for Tyler!

PearlsTeapot · 10/04/2026 14:19

It depends on the wording of the rule- he touched it, he definitely didn't stand on it! So do you have to touch it or stand on it?
