Have you ever had the passionate

ARunByFruiting · 18/02/2026 20:06

... getting in the door, kissing and throwing yourselves up against walls as clothes fly off towards a moment of passion or is that only what happens in the movies? 😆

Lighthearted obviously but I do wonder if this happens in real life, especially on dating first "intimate" encounters or is more the reality of awkwardly undressing and being embarrassed at everything possible 🤔 😅

Crikey it’s not often I read threads like these and feel like I’m doing well! Dh and I still have times like this now.
The dc are all older now and are reliably out of the house sometimes so it’s easier to feel the freedom. For a good few years though there was always someone in the house and spontaneous lust had to be shelved a bit.

SecondSpare · 20/02/2026 10:23

46 and I have experienced this a few times. I was so eager once that one of his t-shirts had an actual rip in it from me tearing it off him with such vigor. He wasn't fussed about that at all though. I have also been in a situation where we started having sex against the wall while we were both still partially clothed. Both completely overwhelmed with lust. My knickers were off, his underpants were around his ankles. We didn't get the rest of our clothes off until we were actually in the bedroom.

Yes definitely numerous times and on one occasion there was an image that was so hot that I wanted to remember it forever I sort of photographed it in my head it was 1985 and I can still recall it and it’s still a pleasure. Not even the best sex I’ve had but a great time.

I love this post - lucky you!

I have a couple of memories that I sort of photographed in my head and love to revisit (not sexual, just happy)😊

Parsleyforme · 20/02/2026 10:41

Only a couple of times, once as a horny teenager and once with current partner. Second time was planned and instigated by me - not just lust and passion - but I’m fairly sure I’m autistic and I’m not the best with transitions so coming in the front door isn’t the sexiest time for me 😂

Smittenkitchen · 20/02/2026 10:44

Yes, but only when drunk so a bit more wobbly and less smooth than in the films!

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 20/02/2026 10:47

Not exactly, but I have had similar feelings getting home with a bag of fresh doughnuts.🍩

Thisseasonsdiamante · 20/02/2026 10:48

Yes late teens and early twenties with only three men. One was my first love and it was years long, everything about it was filled with teenage intensity, the next was with the best looking hottest man I’ve ever been with, great body, attractive face but an absolute shit of a human. My clothes literally fell from my shoulders and hips to the floor whenever I went into his home.

One last incredible experience was a one night stand where a very strong well built Dutch tourist who lifted me across his room to a bed while having sex, very movie esque one time only thing. He was hot but I wouldn’t have picked him from a line up two days later so maybe not that memorable.

Pieceofpurplesky · 20/02/2026 10:51

Yes. Didn't even make it anywhere but the stairs. Stairs = bad back for weeks after! Was basically walking like a 90 year old for ages and that moment of passion killed any passion for a good two months!

Hopefulsalmon · 20/02/2026 10:52

No, I seem to like the men who neatly fold their socks whilst I wait

FeelingALittleWoozyHere · 20/02/2026 10:54

Yes, probably 4 or 5 times, including early days with my DH. My first boyfriend - we were super intense. Had sex absolutely everywhere (including the 6th form toilets, in and on his car, nipping to my house for lunch, in the park. We were animals). Boyfriend in my 20s. Had sex in the middle of a hike on the side of the Blue Mountains in Oz. Also a toilet (after we broke up). Couldn't keep our hands off each other. Few more along the way including a couple of hot one night stands. Me and DH were long distance at first and every time we visited each other it would be an immediate rush to a bedroom for frantic sex before we would consider doing anything else. Am glad Ive had alot of passionate sex in my time 😀

CandiedPrincess · 20/02/2026 11:00

Yes! With now DH. We were very passionate, did it absolutely everywhere as we were unable to wait😏 We still have our moments.

🤣

Arraminta · 20/02/2026 11:06

Yep, when first met DH. We nearly killed each other with sex in those first 6 months.

Thingything · 20/02/2026 11:11

Yes, a few times where I've wanted them so badly it was a physical ache. I know it got slated but in the new Wuthering Heights film I think they did that quite well.

Vicliz24 · 20/02/2026 11:12

Yes, twice in my twenties. Both deeply unsuitable boyfriends but amazing chemistry.

Luckyingame · 20/02/2026 11:22

No and don't regret/missed out on anything.
As a "self sufficient introvert" and someone who finds the whole business of sex disgusting since teenage years, I'm happy the way I am.

Oblivionnnnn · 20/02/2026 11:24

Yes, all the time!

Bloodyscarymary · 20/02/2026 11:24

I am loving these stories mn!

I too have had my share of this, I remember my boyfriend and I during first year of uni had sex 7 times in a day!

I also had a great fwb who I didn’t find that attractive physically but somehow was the best sex of my life - something about how into it he was?

I also had a Latin American lover (yes I’ll say it even though pp cringed at the word lol) who was hands down the stereotype and absolutely amazing in bed. I recommend everyone have an adventure like this, especially buttoned up brits.

My lustful ways were somewhat tempered by a false sense (instilled in me by my catholic mother) of guilt around “purity”.

I could have had so many more shagathons otherwise! I definitely won’t be passing this on to my own daughter - you have to seize the hormonal lust of your teens and 20s while you can.

DH and I were like this at the start too - I remember we had sex in four different rooms of his new flat, when there was no furniture. including the kitchen bench.

Now we have a baby and haven’t had sex for months sadly! But I have hope we can get back there occasionally.

Goldfsh · 20/02/2026 11:25

Yes. It's actually a kind of insanity, from which I have almost 'come to' and thought WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?

Once I had ACTUALLY RIPPED A CHAP'S BUTTONS OFF

Unwisesthelier · 20/02/2026 11:33

Yep, but not until well into my 40s. Post-divorce fling with a much younger man. Couldn't keep my hands off him.

Disturbia81 · 20/02/2026 12:10

At the moment I have two like this and I’m mid 40s, one is I drag him into the house when he arrives and most of the time we don’t make it to the bedroom. The other is less urgent but we have it 5 times on average in a night. I feel so much more sexual now than I ever did when younger

alcoholfreelife · 20/02/2026 12:53

Yes but only once with an ex, he was absolutely incredible in bed and big and strong with it , he threw me around the bedroom like a rag doll 😈 we had sex everywhere and anywhere and we clothes wait to rip each others clothes off, I still remember those times and do miss them, sex with my husband is good but my ex was by far the best sex I’ve had had, we are still in touch platonically now but as soon as I see a message pop up my vagina goes into spasm 😂

Travelfairy · 20/02/2026 14:26

Yes, with a man i shouldn't have been involved with..or rather he shouldn't have been involved with me for a variety of reasons. Sex was amazing and if I'm honest haven't has as good with anyone else -still good partners but that, electric chemistry was a one off.

Justthethingsthatyoudointhisgarden · 20/02/2026 14:30

Yes, with a male friend. It would never have worked as a romantic relationship though.

clementmarot · 20/02/2026 14:37

Yes. Pretty much whenever my husband and I have behaved like this, I have got pregnant, so in my experience it's a pretty sure sign of ovulation.
