I only got one. Even looking at the answers I can only understand a handful.

Gosh I'm impressed some of you have done so well.

I got 12 and my DS, who I sent the link to , got 19 . We've now combined our answers and got a couple more and we are on 23.

Considering he is a railway enthusiast, good at geography and works in transport planning my DS is extremely miffed that he isn't doing better!

In mitigation it does seem quite England orientated and we are in Scotland. That's our excuse anyway!

Up to 32. A lot of guessing going on now!

I couldn't even work out that one with a list of answers in front of me!! (They just list the answers rather than having the picture next to each of them). Let me have another look and try harder to work it out...

Ok i think i realise now why i couldn't get that one. My clue for the wax thing is that the place ends in the letters 'ton' (which is where i got confused thinking that that answer must tie up with the anvil weight thing which specifically says ton on it).

At some point this needs to become a spoiler thread as even with the answers there are a few i could do with discussing to understand how the pun actually works!

They should have had a plate of egg and ham for Egham!!

I dont understand why 2 of my answers dont work. The swimming pool, and the paddling pool, seem obvious places but dont work

Those are stations where it is the place name plus other words. The swimming pool one is a bit of tougher one if you don't know the stations in that area
