Someone who owns a b&b by the looks of it as it’s not a residential dwelling.

Crunchymum · 30/01/2026 19:24

Yep, its clearly currently a B&B.

Dearg · 30/01/2026 19:24

It was a boutique hotel based on the description, so I think that explains the decor. That , and it’s Brighton , so it’s a bit of a party palace.

It wouldn’t be my taste, but I am probably too mainstream .

fouroclockrock · 30/01/2026 19:25

What an ugly house.

Iloveeverycat · 30/01/2026 19:27

Wow! That's quite cheap.

SnipThoseApronStrings · 30/01/2026 19:27

I’m not beige but that’s too much for me! Maybe for 1 night in a B&B

Hatty65 · 30/01/2026 19:28

I'm laughing at photo 7 which is the most blank white space I've ever seen. I'm imagining the owner sitting in their office doing admin whilst loathing the rest of the entire house they have decorated in maximalist fashion!

SunnySideDeepDown · 30/01/2026 19:28

The description says it’s (an ugly) hotel currently.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 30/01/2026 19:30

Gorgeous outer façade and those tiles on the path .
Mo parking on that street by the looks of StreetView
Lairy AF inside , those carpeted plinths for the beds Eeurgh !

But if I had the money I'd buy it

Buscobel · 30/01/2026 19:37

I’m not surprised there’s no photo of a kitchen. It’s barely discernible.

Nevermind17 · 30/01/2026 19:39

It looks like a swinger’s club. There was one near me and there was a feature in the Daily Mirror about it. It had similar tacky decor.

Not ugly at all imo, just needs redecorating.

the80sweregreat · 30/01/2026 19:42

No kitchen ?

Needtosoundoffandbreathe · 30/01/2026 19:56

The kitchen is possibly a catering type one with stainless steel unfitted units

Someone who owns a b&b by the looks of it as it’s not a residential dwelling.

That was my thought. It's not a home.

MiddleAgedDread · 30/01/2026 20:01

brothel?
no lives in it as a large house, there’s too many bedrooms / toilets and not enough living space or kitchen .

It looks absolutely nothing like a swingers’ club

Happyjoe · 30/01/2026 20:12

Gawd, I miss my old hometown of Brighton when I see things like this! Lol. But it does look more like an old B&B type place. There have been themed hotel rooms like this for years too. Quirky.
Saying that, there's another for sale in Rottindean area, been on the market for ages because it's decorated similar to this, but not as 'well done', believe it or not.
Yeah, I rightmove stalk Brighton, I'd love to go back home.

Edited - the Landsdown hotel was like this, every room done different. Til it went bust.

Squirrelchops1 · 30/01/2026 20:19

I'm loving the colours!

WildCherryBlossom · 30/01/2026 20:21

Fab property in a great location. Tickles me that the owners spaces (bedroom, bathroom and office) are all very low key, crisp white walls as a total counterpoint to the OTT shag pads in the rest of the building.

Great spaces, easily redecorated. Can’t find any details on garden though?

unbelievablybelievable · 30/01/2026 20:28

The inset beds surrounded by the carpeted wrap-around step.... imagine having to clean the room after a couples romantic weekend 🤢

FruAashild · 30/01/2026 20:30

As a hotel it's kind of fabulous. I did wonder about the white bedroom but I guess that's the owners own space on the lower ground floor.

DisforDarkChocolate · 30/01/2026 20:32

Every room a different porn film set. Not for me.

rainforestalliance · 30/01/2026 20:32

Very sinister energy radiating from there
