Well none of us can speak on any of this as we don’t know these people. I do agree that celebs have the ability to keep their children out of the limelight and maybe D&V were wrong not to but Brooklyn would never have met and married this woman if they had, so I guess there’s a payoff.

Also my reading of this is once past a time when BB had no consent has to how his own parents ruthlessly ransacked, staged, curated, compromised his childhood and flogged it to to global media on a daily basis for ££££ for themselves without his consent …. and an adult grown married man of twenty odd says enough already I want to live my own independent life (online or off line that’s his prerogative surely at any point) - his parents should respect his choice and release him from their expectations to rock up regularly to add glow to their fake contrived family brand to continue to line their pockets with £££££.

D&V will be gutted that they have killed the golden goose as they have now cut out grandchildren from N&B who they would have rinsed as well.

I also feel strongly that there should be new laws around Child Emotional Exploitation safeguarding children from their own parents who financially exploit them and emotionally harm them without consent. I would like to see criminal charges along the lines of revenge porn. D&V have shown to be financially coercively controlling. Kids of these families have to shoulder the shame of their hideous parents at school daily (DB affairs etc) which is bad enough but when they are forced to play act a false fantasy family online to cover up it has serious MH consequences

I don’t dislike Harry or Meghan, he is allowed to call out bad behaviour of his blood family that put him & his new wife in danger.

That’s quite an apt description of the quality of their output, image and behaviours IMHO.

He would still be wealthy and have doors opened for him as the child of rich and fanous parents. Its the constantly pushing the children into the public eye that is the issue. They could have kept the kids out of it until they were adults, paid for the best education money could buy, pull strings to get them into internships etc. The kids would have got all the benefits of having rich parents but without having the paps forced on him from birth. Yes NP wouldn't have even met him if he was the kid of a plumber from Romford but his family are poor compared to the Peltz's.

Privacy doesn’t mean going to become a hermit 🙄. It means being able to control your own private information and choosing what you put out there. I suspect he doesn’t want to put as much out there as his parents do in their carefully curated way

and why is it ‘his childhood vs growing up poor’ - it’s his childhood in the public eye vs growing up privately

the amount of briefing to the press from his parents throwing him and his wife under the bus shows the beckhams have lost touch with reality when it comes to their personal/private boundaries

Agree with all of this but if we had never seen a picture of Brooklyn and he didn’t have a public relationship with his parents, I doubt his wife would’ve married him. NP doesn’t need his money, she wants his name and fame. She dated Justin Bieber, pursued Anwar Hadid when he was 17, trying to get in with Bella, Gigi, Kendall, etc and is desperate to be an actress. Maybe when no one watched the god awful movie she made in 2024, she thought the Beckhams, despite parading them at the premiere, were no longer serving a purpose and this is the result.
