1 avocado, 5 pears, 4 nectarines and a small bag of chestnuts? 80miles from London, not organic, from an independent fruit/veg shop in our village.

Looks like a box of leftover loose veg that are given away by supermarkets at the end of the day on things like Olio so I'm going to guess that it was free

I am never living in the UK going on some of the guesses. I shop in Aldi in Ireland and that lot would cost about 5 euro.

Until I read your post in full, I thought you were going to say it was £1.50 or £2 from Lidl in one of their reduced boxes, but seeing it is from a local greengrocer, I would say at least £10.

Because that would be the relevant comparison, not Aldi.
