The thing is nobody who's in Wales or knows any Welsh thinks it's funny because it only looks a bit rude written down. When you actually say it it isn't "fanny big" it sounds like "van uh big".
You used to be able to get bags which said" I love Fanny Street", the street part was in very small type..

I grew up living not far from wetwang and was always surprised hearing it on rude name lists as I’d never given it any thought. My first ever boyfriend also lived in wetwang 😅
