I have 2. First is my coffee machine. It grinds the beans, so I can have a freshly brewed coffee each morning. I love it!
Second one is a prize from postcode lottery. It's a rechargeable hot water bottle, and it's been a game changer! Especially useful for when I'm cold watching DS play rugby....

GLP-1

@MartiniandFogcan you please share more? Where do you get it from and how much did it help Blush

MagnoliaTreeBlossom · 01/01/2026 11:02

A Ninja double stack air fryer with 4 cooking levels

A dehumidifier

Dollybantree · 01/01/2026 11:17

Yep, another one for mounjaro - life changed forever. Knowing I don’t ever have to be overweight again is mind blowing.

A steamer - ridiculous as I’ve never had one and it only cost £20 - my veg now tastes amazing - we had sprouts that actually tasted like sprouts for the first time ever 😂

A car for dd19 - we now have another person to run errands and give lifts!

Is your snooze band comfy in all snoozing positions ? Could you tell.me which you've bought please?

StarsTwinklingPomanders · 01/01/2026 11:47

@staringatthesun re trip drinks can you say why ?

Alarae · 01/01/2026 12:00

Ice skates and adult ice skating lessons!

Always loved ice skating, and decided this year was the year of ‘fuck it, what’s stopping me?’. Started in April and still going. Absolutely love it every week!

I rarely drink alcohol now, but sometimes want something that's not a cup of tea. For me, they taste a bit more 'grown up' than other carbonated drinks. The peach and ginger is a particular favorite. I drink them from a wine glass and it gives me the same feeling of relaxation as i used to get from a glass of wine. I don't know or care if that has anything to do with the CBD infusion, which I suspect is a minimal amount seeing as I buy them in Waitrose!

I have only ever steamed veg for last 20 years - apart from the occasional roast ones - people coming over for meals always comment that all my veg taste amazing - baby sprouts in particular well steamed are fab - and it’s such a cheap upgrade too

It’s true - I’m a complete convert and annoyed with myself for putting up with soggy, tasteless veg for years. Tonight we’re having cod, baby potatoes, broccoli and green beans - all done in my little 3 tier £20 steamer 😂

My lounge rugs, two matching air fryer and then , yesterday the 1p dish rack and 1p grillo pads and 4 dolls for 4p in poundland.

They were closing down and yesterday was their final day, never knew they were closing down. Got there half an hour before they shut and everyone before I had arrived had done a supermarket sweep.
One lady had towels, large bars of Cadbury dairy milk in her wheely basket whilst I wanted to cry that i didnt know they were closing down.

Judgejudysno1fan · 01/01/2026 17:20

Still trying to get over the heart break.

Crikeyalmighty · 01/01/2026 17:32

@Dollybantree yep i think mine was£18 and still doing good service years and years later - - it’s chalk and cheese compared to boiling or microwaving - I actually ate more veg too

An Airfryer.

Twin drawer air fryer! I've had an air fryer for about 10 years now, love it, needed to upgrade and to 2 drawers make it easier (Obviously not to program, still trying to get the hang of that)!

Thirdtimeunlucky2025 · 01/01/2026 17:43

Another Eufy robovac which also mops. Nothing wrong with first one but this one empties itself and I’ve had arm surgery so not upto lifting things.

dreamland hot throw
A small air fryer

Macanncheese · 01/01/2026 17:47

Tempur pillows! Worth every penny.

amispeakingintongues · 01/01/2026 17:55

Nespresso coffee machine. Life changing.

zara full length winter coat smart enough to dress up but practical for every day.

a woollen bucket hat to hide my bad hair days

Dollybantree · 01/01/2026 18:12

Do these robomop things really do as good a job as conventional mopping? How do they get into corners?

Wishingthingsweredifferent38 · 01/01/2026 18:16

ADHD diagnosis and meds for my 7 year old. And play therapy for him. We’ve gone from struggling to stay in school for an hour, talking about wanting to die, and hurting himself, to full days at school and coping with life much more comfortably. Best money I have ever spent (solo parent who had to do serious budgeting to make it work but I firmly believe it’s saved his life)

tommyhoundmum · 01/01/2026 18:18

Rechargeables: radio, lit dog collar and torch.

Mine’s only small but it has a black glass front and you can see your food when you press the ‘Light’ button 😀

WhitePudding · 01/01/2026 18:19

I don’t know the correct term but one of those gadgets that projects onto a wall so we can watch Netflix etc in bed. It’s so lovely to be able to go to bed and be cosy and warm watching a film or something. It’s just a small thing and doesn’t take up much room on a chest of drawers.

Turmerictea · 01/01/2026 18:19

An off the tracks race horse. He's amazing. Also waterproof waxed leather yard boots.

Anothercoffeex · 01/01/2026 18:25

pumpkinpaste · 01/01/2026 18:25

Coverless duvets. Wash and air dry in 90 minutes. Brilliant. On all the beds now.
