In your house, do you still have bowls of pot pourri?

I bought my husband one for his stocking, from an antique shop. His nickname is this animal and it was a really lovely one. He seemed to like it.

No to pot pourri, bath oil beads, feature wall, record player, cassette player, paper bank statements, fax machine, walkman, iPod, young children.
Yes to landline, sandwich toaster, CD player (broken, but awaiting Repair Cafe appointment) and CDs, house guests, address book, DVD player and DVDs, actual books, Filofax, paper diary, bath salts.

Do you still have a tea pot, and loose leaf tea?
What about a tea cosy?
Or one of those knitted covers for the spare loo roll, that looked like a doll with her skirt covering the loo roll?
Does anybody have a bathroom suite that isn't white?

yes to the teapot, sadly no cosy and also sadly no to the bathroom suite but I wish I could have a pink one.

Yes to envelopes of printed photos. My parents still use a 34mm camera and keep Truprints in business.

We have piles of old photos in envelopes. And some ancient ones of long-deceased relatives in a large biscuit tin, almost none of whom I can identify.

Do you still have your mum's wash basket to carry laundry out to the line and if so, is it disintegrating wicker that will probably lacerate you some day, or is it the old school plastic that will remain undegraded several thousand years after a nuclear war?

I use mixing bowl and rolling pin and sewing box all the time! And I have a loose leaf teapot but it gathers dust because the tea gets too cold & strong
