For.... sake. Seriously 😳

WearyAuldWumman · 22/12/2025 19:48

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

FurForksSake · 22/12/2025 19:49

Nah, seems absolutely normal. I’ll pick up some mini eggs if I see them. As long as they haven’t got the “back to school September 2026” bits out, I won’t care.

ToKittyornottoKitty · 22/12/2025 19:50

Same as every single year, why would anyone not believe it?

shellyleppard · 22/12/2025 19:50

That's really early... normally see them after boxing day. ;!!

TinselTitts · 22/12/2025 19:51

They've been on the shelves for at least 3 days according to my local FB group!

Needmorelego · 22/12/2025 19:51

Someone mentioned this in a thread the other day.
Shops like Poundland often don't have stockrooms. Stock comes in and goes directly to the shelves.
It's normal for retailers to receive stock well in advance for seasonal selling.
It's only on the shelf because they have no where else to put it.
But you know what....
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT 😂😂😂

Taupeness · 22/12/2025 19:52

And here you are writing about it on social media. Job done.

pizzaHeart · 22/12/2025 19:53

DH saw Easter eggs today at Hotel chocolat. They also had a few Halloween leftovers and plenty of Advent calendars.
🤔🤔🤔

EmpressaurusKitty · 22/12/2025 19:53

Also crème eggs in B&M.

santascrackdealer · 22/12/2025 19:54

No it's not, they usually come out of hiding on Boxing Day.

Aren’t they an every day thing. They used to be!

RacingAcrossTheSofa · 22/12/2025 19:56

B&M had loads of mini eggs, crème eggs, etc last week!

IsThisTheWaytoSlamMyPillow · 22/12/2025 19:56

Well in my town it’s to get rid of them before they close down.

Needmorelego · 22/12/2025 19:57

RescueMeFromThisSilliness · 22/12/2025 19:54

No it's not, they usually come out of hiding on Boxing Day.

The thing is...
In order for stock to magically appear on the shelves on Boxing Day shop assistants have to either work late on Christmas Eve after the shop has closed to put the stock out or even (rare but it happens) go in on Christmas Day to fill the shelves.
So they're on the shelves now....who cares?

RessicaJabbit · 22/12/2025 19:57

Yup;, spotted this the other day 🙂

I put mini eggs in my kids stockings a few years back so I'm not surprised.

Applepe · 22/12/2025 19:59

I saw Mini Eggs in B&M last week 😒😢

Stickthatupyourdojo · 22/12/2025 19:59

I’ve just finished up my order with Tesco’s for collection tomorrow. I clicked on the “Christmas offers” link to see if there’s anything there worth considering and there were Easter eggs listed!

Oh I see what's happened here. You are under the impression that I don't know that sort of thing. As it happens, I do. I also know that nobody needs to buy Easter eggs on the 27th December.

Vitriolinsanity · 22/12/2025 20:01

Mini eggs in Morrisons petrol.

No I don’t need or even want to buy.

The point is we the consumer are saturated in this shite months before the time of year.

I give precisely zero fucks about Poundlands seemingly ridiculous inability to put 10,000 Easter eggs in whether et their equivalents of a online delivery basket are.

That isn’t why this stuff is in shops. It is greed and stupidity. Greed on the part of the retailers. Stupidity for falling for it by the consumers and for not saying stop!

There is always a small amount of Easter stock out before Christmas, it’s not new. Mini eggs are DSs favourite and I buy them from the easter section for his stocking every year
