It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

As well as raccoons thy see a wild boar with piglet. The children are very excited!

Manav has taken Shreya in the little sleigh. It doesn't have reindeer - it's a one horse open sleigh! They see a family of foxes.

They also see a group of deer.

After the sleigh ride Shreya gets to feed a carrot to the pony. Everyone has enjoyed the scenery and wildlife today!

How lucky they’ve been to see all those creatures! I went all the way to Canada hoping to see bears, but nary a one came out to see me! I will go to Playmoland and see the boars instead next time!

That was lovely - especially pleased that Playmoland has red squirrels rather than the grey rats with tails that live round here.

@DirtyGertiefromno30 no, but I might jot that down as an idea for another year! Which people might go for a works do? Police/firefighters/school staff/office workers? Some interesting things to ponder there!

Ds has gone out this evening to meet up with some of his old school friends. I appear to be listening to some festive music on the CD player and drinking some wine. White, not Playmo blue.

When l worked at the hospital , they had an all hospital ball anyone who worked at the hospital could go to , so the porters, the drs ,the nurses, the engineers ,cooks , cleaners, telephists , receptionists , physics, occy health, office staff uncle Tom Cobeigh and all 🤣

Today Steffi and Johanna are out sledging on Beany Hill.

They are having a great time rushing downhill.

Oh dear! Steffi has fallen off.

But she is soon back on her feet again.
