It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

Serena and Josiah wave goodbye to their guests. It has been a lovely evening!

I love the way the Playmo royal men dress. Puts ours to shame!

Loved the Nativity with the malfunctioning costumes, the children coped beautifully. The ball was the epitome of elegance and decorum, they certainly know how to throw a good party at the big house!

Thank you all! @DirtyGertiefromno30 I'm not too sure where I found inspiration for all the names, but I do have a database of all the Playmo people, to avoid duplicating any names, and keep track of who is who!

Looks like a great ball, it looks like there's probably a proper cloakroom in the palace , or servants to hold them , as the ladies don't seem to be dancing around their handbags ( or maybe they only do that in the less elevated playmo circles .. 😂) Zuleika seems to be wearing a festive cycle helmet!?

I thought that! I imagined a thread - “AIBU to wear my crown to a charity ball hosted by a Duke and Duchess? It weighs 2gm so may be uncomfortable by the end of the night but it looks so fabulous.” (Obviously in Playmo land no one is ever unreasonable, but on MN and especially AIBU, can you imagine!)

Zenobia is a Countess, so I think she's entitled to wear it. I think Zuleika's cycle helmet is supposed to be a kind of medieval/renaissance hairnet type thing!

Today the postal workers are busy with deliveries. Beverley is delivering letters and cards.

She has some post for number 27.

She puts the letters in the mailbox at number 8.

She posts the letters into the box at number 4...

...and cycles off to her next delivery.
