It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

Luciano's cruise-crooner outfit made me laugh - complete with a hairy chest, medallion and designer stubble! 😄

Looks like a lovely varied concert!

Luciano could have shaved for the occasion though.

Great concert! I love the oversized violins- like putting a cello under your chin!

( As a double bass player I got fed up with the " How do you get that under your chin?" joke. I'm getting my own back!)

The Funky Boys are always a favourite of mine. The Singing Santas look as though they’ve got a bit of a choreographed dance routine going on there too!

Great concert! It’s lovely to see how much effort all the groups put into their outfits, even better than the singing!

I was thinking they were 24 inch violas but yes a 1/2 size cello would work!

So many performers in the concert!

My guess for tomorrow is a Christmas wreath or Christmas decoration making workshop!

I think there will be a coffee morning for the WI featuring Luciano for the ladies .

Today is the Eastgate Primary School nativity play. Mary and Joseph arrive at the stable, as there is no room in the inn.

The baby Jesus is born!

Oops! Mary has lost her headdress!

She picks it up and puts it back on her head.

There are shepherds keeping watch over their sheep.

An angel appears and tells them of the birth of Jesus.

Oops! The angel's halo has slipped.

She sets it straight again.

The shepherds make their way to Bethlehem.

In Bethlehem a throng of angels have arrived to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

The shepherds arrive and join with the angels in celebrating.

The three wise men prepare to set off with their gifts
