It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

I've been out for lunch with @petalpower . Playmobil may have been discussed during lunch.

Would anyone like to guess what will be happening tomorrow?

What a lovely day its been in Playmoland. Can I guess that the blue wine is making an appearance tomorrow? I imagine it's delicious.

I think it will be a school concert or a carol concert.

@DirtyGertiefromno30 had the closest guess, as today it's the Lowbeach-on-Sea Christmas concert. First to perform is country and western band Haystack.

The band features Bonnie on accordion,

Wade and Roseanne on fiddles,

Jolene on vocals and Brent on tambourine,

Wilma and Caradoc on guitar, and Colt on drums, although for some strange reason I forgot to get a good photograph of him, but you can see him in the background of a couple of the other photos!

Next to perform is singer Luciano, accompanied by Gary on piano.

Luciano really puts everything into his performance!

They both take a bow.

The Funky Boys are always popular!

Lew on bass, Jonny on drums, Harrie on Sax and Mejedi on trumpet.

Gesine and Oleg play a violin and piano duet.

What an exciting performnce!

They acknowledge the applause from the audience.

The Waterbury Singers perform next, conducted by Leilani Harrison.

They are singing a selection of festive favourites.

Leilani is very proud of the singers.

The Singing Santas were a great success in their debut at last year's concert.

They are a close harmony quartet.
