It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

Jytte has taken the children to choose something from the stall. Per has a gingerbread heart, Kjeld has a cupcake, and little Margit likes the festive biscuits, so Jytte has bought a carton of them.

Mayumi is running a teddy bear stall.

Cara and Lily each choose a teddy bear to match their outfits!

Marta is in charge of "Guess the weight of the cake" which has kindly been made and donated by Antje. Ruby and Isaac are trying to work out how much it weighs.

Fariba has a large range of books to choose from.

Franz chooses a book about music, while Willow buys a book of princess stories.

I’ve been away for a couple of days (celebrating DH’s 70th birthday!), so I’m just catching up. Love the Christmas baking!

Matthias is on the treasure hunt stall. Sisters Sophie, Isabel, Phoebe and Olivia are trying to work out where the treasure is hidden.

"You're the oldest, Phoebe" says Isabel, "So you can mark the cross on the map!"

Tina is selling Christmas cards.

Gail has taken Esmé, Elsie and Emmanuel to choose some cards. They each select a different design. For anyone who is interested, this is the wife and children of Mr Giles from the school concert!

Sangita is running the toy stall.

Jacques says to his children they can buy one toy each. Etienne has chosen a purple doll and Marguérite a blue snail.

Heinz and Reynalyn are on refreshments.

Rob enjoys a nice cup of tea and Jeanette fancies a coffee.

Dimitra is running the bric-a-brac stall. There's a fine assortment of objects here.

Annifrid buys a lovely blue tray for her new home.

Bailey, Cory and Riley are looking for a gift for their mum.

They choose a floral arrangement with a candle. It's so huge that Cory can hardly carry it!

Morten is selling tickets for the grand draw. There are some lovely prizes - a beautiful hamper of fruit, some bottles of wine, tickets for the local panto and for the Lowbeach Christmas concert, a bottle of perfume, a tablet, a makeup set, a potted poinsettia, some festive biscuits and a beautifully decorated cake!

Brendan buys some tickets and hopes he will be one of the lucky winners!

It's the end of the school fair, and all the winners are announced. Yumiko has won the guess the weight of the cake. Her family look forward to eating it with her.

Mats has won the treasure hunt. It's his first school fair, and he is really pleased!
