...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

Absolutely gorgeous stuff, @SoMuchToBits. You really do spread the cheer. I am now thinking of Christmas morning brekkie with all those wonderful baked goods!

CrochetMadRosie · 11/12/2025 10:22

Love this every year and I’m now wishing that our playmobil house wasn’t packed away in the loft and I could play too! Not sure that DD17 would appreciate me getting it down for me her!

Love the attention to detail (everyone has their own different kitchen - of course they would I guess but it's delightful to see). If I may add a photo of my own we're (I can't think of a name) raising a glass to your hard work and loving the results!

Love this

I agree re the attention to details - the two different coloured rolling pins, whisks and bowls etc is amazing...

SoMuchToBits · 11/12/2025 13:26

Thank you for all the lovely comments! I've just come in from doing a lot of gardening, and about to get some lunch. I like your Bavarian people @thejadefish , I don't have them. They appear to come from set 6395, which I think was a direct service set (not available in shops but you could order it from the Playmobil website). @CrochetMadRosie you should get the house out of the loft - you know you want to! Xmas Wink

@Londonmummy66 the details are what I love about Playmobil! I have a lot of fun planning the scenes and working out exactly which items I'm going to use in each scene. Xmas Smile

They all look delicious!

Like Gerda, I was baking Christmas biscuits this morning, and I put on my santa hat to feel festive while I did so.

SoMuchToBits · 11/12/2025 14:31

That sounds great @HeadyLamarr ! I don't have a Santa hat or reindeer antlers, but I do usually put some Christmas music on the CD player when I'm doing Christmas baking. Xmas Smile

I was going to a Christmas lunch later and the instruction was "sparkly" but I don't own any sparkly clothes, whereas I have a very nice Santa hat.

I don't usually bake in fancy dress!

SoMuchToBits · 11/12/2025 14:44

I don't have any sparkly clothes either. I bet Svenja does though, I expect she has a wardrobe full of them! Xmas Wink

Antje's snowflake outfit is pretty snazzy too!

I'm sure your DD would love you to - what are you saving it for, get it down from the loft! 😂

Westfacing · 11/12/2025 15:10

I see everyone is admiring Ludwig's buns!

IamEarthymama · 11/12/2025 15:22

Well, I have just caught up with a few days in Playmoland and I must say it’s been so very festive!
@SoMuchToBits I love the Christmas Tree Festival! Such lovely decorations in a beautiful church! Please thank Revd Latimer and the congregation for their hard work. 🎄🎄🎄

My nephew is a music teacher and I’m going to send him the pictures of the School Concert!

I was so glad to see Apollo, and so grateful that he was found and Borough safely home.

Thank you as always @SoMuchToBits, I don’t do sparky clothes but I do like a Christmas/Yuletide earring, usually purchased from a local Christmas Fayre. My theme this year, aptly for this thread, Christmas Trees and I have paid the grand total of £3 for two pairs, one of which is made from pipe cleaners! 😉☺️🎄🤶🏻

Today is the Eastgate Primary School Christmas fair. Rosie is running the home baking stall. There are lots of cakes, biscuits and buns to choose from!
