It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

Thank you everyone! I'm pleased so many people liked the tree festival. Also pleased that the market was better than so many RL ones!

That's interesting @FuzzyCaoraDhubh - a friend of mine who lives in Hertfordshire goes to a church which has done one for quite a few years, and the local one here has been running about 15 years or so. I think they are becoming quite popular! Hopefully the residents of Lowbeach-on-Sea are enjoying theirs.

Today Gerda is doing some Christmas baking. She's wearing her Christmas jumper and reindeer antlers to get herself in the Christmas mood.

She rolls out the dough for her biscuits.

Time to put them in the oven.

They all look delicious!

Antje is making chocolate brownies.

The mixture is ready to spread onto the tray.

She puts them in the oven.

They have turned out well!

Next she makes a cake. It's for the Eastgate Primary School Christmas Fair.

The cake is now baked and decorated. It looks lovely!

Ludwig is making buns.

He rolls out the dough.

The buns go in the oven.

He has made chocolate sticky buns, ginger sticky buns and cinnamon buns.

Now to face the mountain of washing up...
