It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

...and buns.

Karl has a gingerbread heart, while Ute has bought a carton of biscuits.

This is making me hungry!

Astrid buys popcorn for Gerhard and Frauke, and Torin chooses some Christmas biscuits.

Today Father Christmas has a small portable organ playing Christmas tunes. Ludwig, Karin, Steffi and Jonas stop to listen

The children are dancing to the music.

Jimmy has his food truck here this year.

Ludwig and Karin ae buying burgers and cold drinks for the children.

Matthias orders some chips.

He takes them back to his family.

Marlene is taking a break from her stall to enjoy a burger and chips. She adds some tomato ketchup to her burger.

"That's better!" she says. "I'm looking forward to my lunch!"

Our village Silver Band were supposed to be playing in the bandstand today. We have a lovely cafe in the park and I was so looking forward to Black Forest Hot Chocolate.
Sadly it’s been cancelled because of forecast of heavy rain.
I’m going to Homesense instead but I am disappointed.

Sorry that the band concert has been cancelled @IamEarthymama . I'm playing in a band concert this afternoon (wind band rather than silver band), but it's not really a Christmas concert, there will be just one or two token Christmas pieces. Bit of a wasted opportunity if you ask me! But never mind, the other band I play in had our Christmas concert last Sunday, and that was a real cracker. Lots of Christmas music, lots of fun, and we had a good audience too!

Whoah! Jimmy's really bringing the Christmas spirit with the size of those portions!

I'm feeling quite peckish now after posting all those food scenes, also I've been making sausage rolls this morning. But they are for tomorrow, so better not eat them now!
