...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

I hope Ulrike's poinsettia lasts until Christmas - mine looks unlikely to!

I love the sled carousel - is it new? I don't remember it! 🎄

I expect Ulrike's poinsettia will last as it's made of plastic but I don't have one myself, as I'm really good at killing house plants!

Ah no, we've had the sled carousel for years! Think we had it when ds was about 9 or 10. I've used it most years in my advent scenes.

I asked ChatGPT for some Playmo gritter names (telling it a bit about PlaymoLand, particularly Norman & his love for tea.)
My favourite that it came up with was “Norman’s For-Tea-Fied Frost Fighter”

I really wanted a light up Christmas tree like the one here, I managed to buy set 3931 (Christmas room) off eBay this week (for a bargain price as it turns out - paid £8 & I looked it up just now to try & find out when it was made/how old and saw some are selling it for £30-£40). Its still in amazing condition, it's from 2001 I can't believe it's 21 years old! I bought it for my 3 year old but my 8 year old now wants it - I think it's going to get many more years of play, she's off setting a scene now 😃

@thejadefish I don't have set 3931, but I do have the same tree as it's also in set 4892 (the one with Marta and Franz in, and Strudel the dog).

Dietrich and Renate have taken Johanna and Fritz to buy some lanterns.

Gustav also chooses a lantern, while Reinhardt and Silke enjoy some tasty apples.
