...and so every day between now and Christmas I'll be bringing you some scenes of what they are getting up to during advent.

Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

Just catching up with the last couple of days. Loving the tray of mugs of hot chocolate brought out to the curlers. I wish someone would bring me a mug of hot chocolate when I'm outside in the cold!

This weekend there is a Christmas market in Lowbeach-on-Sea. Andreas is on the toy stall.

Johann has taken Noel and Klaus along to choose a toy each. Noel likes the blue teddy bear, while Klaus has chosen a brown one.

Brigitte's stall has Christmas cards and decorations.

Gisela has taken her children to choose some Christmas cards. Frieda's cards have snowflakes on, Kurt has gone for Snowmen, and Jutta has chosen Christmas trees.

Ulrike buys a nice poinsettia in a pot.

Hedwig's refreshment stall has mulled wine and cider, confectionery and hot dogs.

Matthias and Marta enjoy a mug of mulled wine, while Emil and Franz each have a hot dog.

Kazuo is having mulled cider, while Akira is looking forward to his bar of chocolate.

Heike has a mug of mulled wine, and Erich and Elke have each chosen a packet of sweets.

The King's Drum and Bugle Band arrive to provide some musical entertainment.

The band is a fine sight, and is led by Drum Major Jermaine Jacobs.

The band get into formation ready to entertain everyone.

There is a Santa's Grotto at the market. Kazuo has taken Akira along.

Aikira receives a gift from Father Christmas. He's very excited!

Akira waves goodbye. "Thank you for the present!" he says.

Gustav, Noel and Fritz are having a ride in the sled carousel.

Noel is enjoying the ride!

Meanwhile dads Reinhardt, Johann and Dietrich enjoy a mug of beer!
