Today Marta is helping Matthias put up the Christmas decorations. She puts the last bauble on the tree.

Karin has taken Steffi and Jonas ice skating.

They are getting on quite well...

...until Steffi falls over!

But Karin soon helps her back upright again.

They are quite peckish after all that skating. Time for a doughnut!

Thanks @Piemam, I have a friend who belongs to the WI, who invited me (at about 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon) to her group's meeting, where they had a group of female shanty singers. Totally not what I had expected to be doing that evening, but it was fun!

It is true they are all very active.
Somuch rarely posts days which go, ‘Today Norman the Foreman is watching tv. Brigitte is internet shopping. Klaus is gaming and Noel is watching YouTube videos.’
I wouldn’t put it past the Puddingheads to not open their curtains till 2pm but even they commit crime actively rather than, say, trolling and hacking.

Haha @TheCountessofFitzdotterel I don't think those would make very interesting scenes! Although I did have a family doing a video call during the pandemic (as they couldn't meet up in person).

The video calls were brilliant. I looked back at the pandemic threads the other day and happened upon the one where they all dye their hair. The grey haired grandparents look suddenly youthful and someone else dyes her hair pink thinking it’s a temporary dye but she looks at the bottle again and it says permanent 😂

Ah yes @TheCountessofFitzdotterel that was Eliza who dyed her hair pink - I had a lot of fun with those scenes. I think originally I had done enough scenes for about a fortnight of the pandemic, but it just kept evolving as things changed in the real world.

The cakes and donuts are always so huge! 😄

I’m not saying I have infected DH with the joy of Playmo threads…but yesterday morning I woke up to a text from DH (he leaves for work early) simply saying “Colin Custardhead!”

The pandemic threads saved my sanity, although I have a vague recollection of someone quizzing you @SoMuchToBitsif you had said Playmo in your possession already, or had ventured out to purchase it. I hope I am misremembering.

You’ve not been to a Costco bakery then? Their giant cookies are amazing, in fact anything from there is amazing…

I can't remember if I was asked that, but I had a lot of the Playmobil already (quite a bit was ds's from when he was a child), but I did buy some new set for the pandemic. I do get new stuff if I need something extra for a particular set of scenes. When I say new, I mean new to me, as quite often it's second hand from ebay.
