Good evening bargain hunters,

I’m here to kick off another deal-hunting thread to help you find the best deals this weekend. Just post what you're after and our deal-sleuths will get on the case.

At MNHQ we get early access to retailers’ discounts before they go live, so we’ve been combing through the data and picking out only the very best Black Friday deals on products you’ve been talking about all year long - like dehumidifiers, air fryers and heated throws. As ever, we’re double-checking Amazon offers on camelcamelcamel to make sure they’re genuine savings and not just Black Friday hype.

Found an incredible bargain? Share it here and spread the love with fellow Mumsnetters.

We’ll be updating this thread live over the weekend and on Monday, and to kick us off, here are today's most popular deals on Mumsnet:

Christmas gift inspo
LEGO Ideas Tuxedo Cat was £60 was £90 at Argos
Rolife Book Nook Kit for Adults DIY Miniature Kit with Lights £32 was £40 at Amazon
To the women by Donna Ashword £5 was £13 - I spotted this poetry book recommendation on the Christmas Bargain thread, lots of you seem to be really enjoying it
£30 off the Other Phone created in partnership with Mumsnetters, it’s a safety-first smart phone designed with kids (and parents) in mind
Amazon Kindle (newest gen) £70 was £95

Beat the cold
Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Blanket Super King Bed £35 was £55 (according to camelcamelcamel this is the cheapest price ever listed on Amazon

Fashion picks
Radley Oak Street Leather Tote bag £168 was £239 at John Lewis
30% off selected Sweaty Betty leggings at John Lewis
20% off women’s nightwear at Marks & Spencers

Happy shopping 💐

Note: Mumsnet has some affiliate links, so purchases through our posts may earn us a small share (more details here). Recommended deals might get linked for user convenience. Prices accurate when posted.

You should sign up to the moneysaver they have great deals! especially this black friday

Thank you for this lovely feedback! I'll pass it on to my colleagues behind the emails 😊

BeccyMumsnet · 28/11/2025 09:23

Gooood morning everyone! I'm around this morning to help you hunt for Black Friday bargains.

If you're looking for something specific, just drop a comment on this thread and I'll try my best to find you the best deal available.

In the meantime, I'll be sharing deals I spot, too, in case they're of interest to you all - and largely because I'll be doing my own Black Friday shopping because I've two little boys with very specific Christmas gift requests this year 😅

Ninja deals

LOWEST EVER price - Ninja Foodi StaySharp Knife Block, was £169.99, now £99.89 (checked on CamelCamelCamel) 👀

The Kris Jenner (😆) approved Ninja CRISPi Portable Air Fryer is now £117, down from £149.99

I've personally bought this for my DH for Christmas... Ninja Blast Portable Blender, was £49.99, now £39.99

Finally the Ninja Double Stack XL Air Fryer (which my colleague loved in her review), was £269.99, now £188! It's not the lowest price we've seen in the past (we've spied this for £185 before) but for the sake of £3, it's still a bargain when discounted from its full RRP.

For dog owners

(Sorry I'm a dog person, not cat, so very much clueless when it comes to felines)

The Furbo Mini 360º Pet Camera is new, and it's now discounted from £33 to £29 - not a huge saving, admittedly.

Alternatively - there's the larger model, the Furbo 360° Dog Camera, which is now £42, down from £52

If you've a puppy like mine who is ball obsessed, this might be of interest: PetSafe Automatic Ball Launcher Dog Toy, was £181, now £99

I've got this one in my basket, though: ALL FOR PAWS Automatic Dog Ball Launcher, was £55, now £47

Other doggy deals I've found:

For restaurant lovers

gifts.thebotanist.uk.com/shop/black-friday-offer-we-ll-match-it

The Botanist are running a gift card offer where they match what you purchase (you spend £50, they top it up to £100)
Only catch is you can only redeem the gift card in janruary, but I still think it's good ! They did it last year and we went while doing some sale shopping

Ooh thank you for sharing this! Now I know what I'm getting my mum for her birthday (which is end of January and awkwardly before pay day 😆)

Any deals on women’s thermal leggings and long sleeve thermal tops? I’m looking to replenish my base layers!

I mean - there's only one place to look for thermals IMO, and that's Uniqlo! Their HEATTECH range is 👌 that said, it doesn't look like there's many BF deals but I have spotted this one with all sizes still available: HEATTECH Ultra Warm Crew Neck T-Shirt, was £24.90, now £19.90

Alternatively, check out TOG24's base layers - all are in the BF Sales, including their thermal base leggings that are just £22, down from £40

I'm on the hunt for a fairly long, very cozy men's dressing gown, in a darkish colour. I think John Lewis is looking like my best option so far:

https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-high-pile-fleece-robe/p114222164?s_share=jlappdroid

But any good bargains would be gratefully received!

Ooh that does look rather nice, but admittedly, I'm a Chelsea Peers fan when it comes to nightwear and have spotted these deals over on their site for you:

Cotton towelling dressing gown, was £70, now £49

Fleece dressing gown in navy, was £55, now £40

There's also a few Chelsea Peers deals over on M&S, including this stripy option (that weirdly, isn't in the BF sale on CP site but is on M&S):

Fleece Striped Hooded Dressing Gown, was £60, now £48 (sizes look limited, though)

Hope that helps - if I've missed the mark completely, let me know and I'll have another look for you.

Any deals for kobo? Categorically do not want a kindle recommendation

You're in luck, there's a good deal on a Kobo Libra Colour 32GB Wi-Fi E-Reader over on Argos, was £210, now £80 (it's the same price on Koto's site if you want to buy it directly)

If you have a higher budget, the Kobo Elipsa 2E is reduced from £350 to £300

I would love some help finding an external hard drive if anybody has that kind of knowledge please?

I don't know anything about them, and I don't have a lot of money. I have low space on my laptop and would only be using it to store photos and videos. As low priced as possible please!

Hey @SoMentallyDrained I've asked my computer nerd tech-savvy DH who tells me you want to look for an SSD external hard drive. You can also get HDD ones or flash drives which are cheaper but can be less reliable. As far as size, if it's just photos and videos you should be fine with 500GB - 1TB. Here are some options:

This is one we've got - Samsung T7 Portable SSD - it's not on a deal and is a bit pricier as it's a Samsung, but it's been super reliable for us. Hope this is helpful!

SophiaMumsnet · 28/11/2025 16:01
