Nikki Grahame. She had done so well to overcome her anorexia and live her life to the full, but the Covid lockdown sent her spiralling back down. She was so lovely and I find it so incredibly sad.

Chinsupmeloves · 14/11/2025 19:55

I think you can be sad when a favourite celebrity passes, especially in awful circumstances. This however doesn't compare to the grief and mourning of a close loved one. 💔

I've cried at those of Princess Diana, the Queen and George Michael amongst others and feel a sad loss to their families and the world but in reality but it's very different to being at someone's bedside who you've loved all your life. Xxx

Michael Jackson and George Michael - both so tragic and unexpected.

Wearescrewed · 14/11/2025 20:10

Freddie Mercury. I loved him and still do, flaws and all.
Caroline Aherne. Slight connection in that I worked for a local radio station where she had a little slot in her early days. I didn’t know her but she came to my attention quite early.
Paul O’Grady, mainly because of his work with rescue animals, but also a complete comedy legend.

David Bowie ❤️

Victoria Wood

I used to know her nephew, apparently she really wasn’t a nice person. Vile to family members and far too full of herself

Levi Stubbs, Otis Redding, Tina Turner

Honestly? No one. Many deaths are sad but I don’t know these people personally and death is a sad and inevitable part of life.
