It's time 🎵🎶 well nearly, 2 hours and change until it drops. It should be 10.30.
Its my favourite time of year but as usual I will probably be useless and depend heavily on mumsnetters for help to decipher.

I'm always completely hopeless at anything like this. I've looked at the clues and have no idea what any of them are.

I have a degree from a top uni so I'm supposed to be intelligent but I'm convinced an IQ test would measure me lower than a hamster.

I did a training course once where we were given some of those Edward de Bono style puzzles to do and I scored zero, the only person on the course to do so.

The woman has three clues linked to her. There's one for the whole figure, then two at the top - her arm and her hair.
That foxed me for a bit too!

The tree has a tag saying "for Minnie"; whose tree is it? Then work the clocks in ...

Don't forget her slippers and her blanket!

Got the clocks! After 5 minutes typing the answer against the wrong picture.

The calendar is the only one I can’t get. Is it a recent book? What genre? I’ve tried all your very helpful clues but I’m just thick!

The calendar is marked the wrong way round.

The 'I'm free ..' that people have put in their clues is a bit misleading. It's literally just what is ticked.

Ah, all done. Thank you for the hints everyone. I hadn’t heard of most of the books. Is that different to previous years? I remember more classics. I didn’t enjoy it as much as usual.

Really popular autobiographical book covering 3 generations in China, published in the early 1990s. A clue about the birds - in the UK, all of these particular birds belong to the reigning monarch.

For the picture, look at where the river is. I hadn’t heard of the book, but the title is basically just what you see there.

The calendar - look at what is ticked.

The mug - it’s really nothing to do with a mug; the text is what really matters. Think of a word which means a gap (in time, not space). Like between 2 parts of a play, for example. Then translate into another language. The answer is a single word.

I have 19/20 … only one I am stuck on is the books at the top of the bookshelf. James comes to mind ie James Corden James earl jones but I can’t think of a book!?
