It's time 🎵🎶 well nearly, 2 hours and change until it drops. It should be 10.30.
Its my favourite time of year but as usual I will probably be useless and depend heavily on mumsnetters for help to decipher.

I searched and couldn't find another thread if there's one already up and running ill delete this.

Edited for proper link

4 seasons make a ….
Search this word on the Goodreads website and the book it is should be obvious.

Thank you! Goodreads gave me a title that in no way matched how I would describe the poncy woo stuff listed on the book spines but it did the job.

They aren't the ocean, they're the - . Twice. The author's only Booker winner.

The men on the shelf are all called . . . .

lifeturnsonadime · 13/11/2025 18:16

I've got 18 I'm just missing the ocean books on the table next to the mug and the top left shelf of the bookcase, anyone got any clues?

Sargasso is the name of a ???Adriatic is also the name of a ??? Both words are in the title. Won the Booker prize.

Top left shelf - which name connects the names? That is it!

LittleGreyRabbitsChristmas · 13/11/2025 18:29

Seasons one is about self care over the year. If you are caring for yourself you might need what to feel better?

DeanElderberry · 13/11/2025 18:32

I tracked it down eventually and think it sounds not my sort of book at all, but also that doing the things described in clue would not be my choice to achieve that (what with living in the depths of the country all year round).

lifeturnsonadime · 13/11/2025 18:34

Phew! All done, it was the twice bit that was troubling me with the table one.

Thanks!

Only one left but I cannot for the life of me work it out, even with the clues in this thread.

Stars spinning round the tree? Keep trying synonyms for spinning but getting nowhere!!

Think of planets ‘spinning’ or moving around rather than stars. Another Booker prize winner.

The only one I’ve got left is the sodding cat. DD has got it so is walking around looking very smug.
