Loved KUA but also adored her in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates. That was a great show that people don’t seem to remember.

I agree. Didn't watch HW the first time around, but discovered it recently and have binge watched it over the past couple of weeks. Really enjoyed it which was a surprise. She played a very similar character to Hyacinth but with more affection/caring, but still with most of the facial expressions etc

Loved Keeping Up Appearances. A lot of the filming locations were by me so it was nice to watch the episodes on TV and recognise the areas.

Oh my. She's what I think of as an old school actor who did rep theatre. Wasn't she a real musical actress?

She had a full career, I hope she knew she was talented and brought alot of joy.
