What's the worst ice cream flavour?

Strawberry

I honestly hate mint choc chip, and also that old fashioned cheap Neapolitan ice cream people used to eat in the 1980s. Not massively fond of rum & raisin either!

Neapolitan - just why??? Lovely vanilla ruined by chocolate and strawberry flavoured awfulness.

I love pistachio ice cream and use it as a benchmark if we’re trying out a new shop.
BUT that McDonald’s one-off pistachio sundae was like eating vanilla and swamp juice!
A black mark also goes to homemade ice cream where the suspended fruit is frozen solid.

Rum & raison

Mint and chocolate chip. I always find it tastes like toothpaste. I'm not too keen on strawberry either.

Banana 🤮

I hate bananas and anything flavoured with bananas, milky things are particularly bad. The only things worse than banana ice cream would be banana custard and banana milkshake.

Rum and raisin. I just don't understand. Mind you haven't tried since I was about eight.

Chocolate flavour icecream is all wrong and bubblegum.

Pistachio

I once had clotted cream ice cream and it was horrid.. Just really farmyardy! Ironically tho it was probably good quality unlike most of the ultra processed rubbish you get mostly nowadays (Carte d'or- I'm looking at you!)

Agree chocolate can be very underwhelming but recently had Waitrose Santo Domingo chocolate ice cream and that is amazing!

Always enjoyed pistachio when I've had it!

Its not just this thread, it’s been happening all over the site for a while now.

Matcha is probably worst I’ve had but I hear there’s a baked bean flavour that I imagine would be worse!

Vanilla - it’s so boring - strictly for kiddies.

Ooh I love banana. For me it's chocolate, as it's almost always too dark and strong flavoured. I don't know why manufacturers can't make a nice creamy chocolate.

I can endure strawberry but strawberries and cream is better IMO.

Rum and raisin is the best ice cream flavour! Like mint too.

Went on a Hurtigruten cruise around Norway and they had fish ice cream in the cafe. Didn’t try it!
