It’s definitely Autumn because

I wore my dressing gown this morning and made my first batch of vegetable soup. It was delicious.
What does Autumn mean for you?

We've brought down the heated throws for the sofas.

The slow cooker is out. We made stew and dumplings 😁

It’s def autumn because I’ve put some socks on

We lit the log burner yesterday.

There’s a heated throw in my basket on Amazon… I’m trying to wait a couple of weeks, as I know I’ll be straight under it til April! 😁😁

I'm wearing my furry slipper socks and thinking about making bread and butter pudding.

Changed to a warmer duvet
Wearing slippers instead of flip flops round the house
Wearing trainers and socks instead of sandals going out
Getting my gilets washed and ready to wear
Putting the outside light on if we go out in the evening so not arriving home in the pitch dark.

For me it’s any day between the 21st of Sept and the 21st of Dec. Give or take a few days each year.

Wearing oversized jumpers and my sheepskin boots when working from home.

Thinking of buying a nice bottle of red wine at the weekend after months of rosé.

I had my annual hot drink yesterday.
There’s a slight chill in the air, and when the sun goes down it’s now cold.

My husband and I have basically lived on a lovely pasta salad all summer…. To the point that we were saying it could still be nice in autumn (!!!) meal prepping tonight…..nope. Defo off the menu now!

I have the heated throw on, and the last few days we’ve put the living room radiator on in the evening. Our cat doesn’t quite know where to position himself.
