Then this morning an old colleague of mine reposting the AR story and saying she hopes she’s heading to France and they accept her.

This person who I worked with in Spain. Who still resides in Spain. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I subscribe to the theory that Moscow and Beijing have been orchestrating a significant amount of this ‘people movement’, in Europe, including the UK.

I didn't think the photos of AR were fake. What I can't understand is the implication she is doing something wrong. She is on holiday. She has a tattoo. She vapes.

They never showed any of these views - the one from Spain. We were young (I was almost 26 when I came back l) But is very reminiscent of expats in Dubai who are against asylum seekers in the U.K. It worries me that this hatred is just pure hatred rather than those with genuine concerns (which we had worked out anyway).

It has no effect on the person who hasn’t lived in the U.K. for 25 years and doesn’t intend to either. She even works and pays taxes in Spain - is a fully blown resident with right to remain who hasn’t been affected by Brexit.

Grrrrrrr - it makes me so angry.
