What's for Dinner Tonight?

Dunno about anybody else, but life seems pretty heavy going at the moment, any which where you look!

So, in the spirit of something that's often nice to think about, innocuous and interesting (well, it is to me, anyways!), what's on your menu for tonight?

Ours is homemade hamburgers and sweet potato fries, since DH and the girls are going out to see Superman tonight.

Wow, that sounds delicious and not like the chemical tasting rubbish served near me on the south coast. I think I'm in the pub too much as an evening activity on a Saturday but not tonight at DH in Spain with work! Eldest teen who can drink has gone on holiday and youngest is at friends who have offered me a wine TBF when I collect but can't really be bothered as they are too intellectual for me tonight!

Parents of DD's friend that is. They are very kind to offer just feel out of my depth with conversations.

We had pulled pork carnitas in wraps with red rice, salsa, yoghurt, avocado and grated cheese.

We had some gorgeous ice cream on the beach in Lossiemouth last October. Watching the planes, climbing the dunes and it was heavenly.

DH had liver and bacon which I hate, so I made myself a kedgeree which he hates 😀

Tonight was DH's absolutely gorgeous chicken and rice casserole. I'm in disgrace because I tend to forget myself when he's shredding the chicken. He and eldest DD are watching the game. Younger DD and I are laughing at listening to them. . .
