So far 20,000 people supposed to be interested.
What do people think
Is there any possibility of him stopping illegal immigration.
So far I haven't seen anything about immigration on anything about his party
But it's early days ,you never know .

Not sure on that but headlines seem to be saying 200k interested not 20k

MagdaLenor · 25/07/2025 12:37

I've read some great suggestions for the new name, though!

BeachLife2 · 25/07/2025 12:56

Nope- they are just as extreme as Reform in different ways. Their economic, foreign and defence policies would be disastrous.

We should not be scared to call them out in the same way as Reform.

I imagine there policy will be open borders, as they are against all immigration controls.

HermioneWeasley · 25/07/2025 13:02

He’s a hard left anti semitic nut job as is Sultana.

he absolutely won’t tackle immigration, there will be an open borders policy, if they manage to have any policies at all that aren’t about Gaza.

he’s more dangerous than reform because he actually believes what comes out of his mouth and isn’t an opportunist

fetachocolate · 25/07/2025 13:03

No, I think he's a bigot and an antisemite

deadpantrashcan · 25/07/2025 13:04

Is there not already another thread actively bashing this?

GreenGully · 25/07/2025 13:12

I think it's great. Anything to assist in splitting the left wing vote is fine by me.

And it’ll certainly do that.

AllotmentHappy · 25/07/2025 13:21

Its 200k not 20k.

would rather Cobryn than Reform - they cant even run a council let alone a country.

No, there's one suggesting names for the party, some of them are very funny!

Oh, ok. Mumsnet humour certainly has its own style. When I read through that, it seemed less about the names, and more just about the bashing. Hopefully someone will start a third thread, soon.

Humour is subjective.

Oh, agreed, it definitely is.

Dd is 17 and her social media is full of Corbyn. They seem to be targeting young people with soundbites. Dd asked for our thoughts- which we gave with evidence. I’m scared about the future of politics for the first time in my life - Corbyn and Farage, either way we’re fucked.

Swan6 · 25/07/2025 13:37

Feels like one extreme to another
Has none of the parties got any sensible policies

It’s only now you’re scared about the future of this country? Only now? Like, for the very first time in your life? How old are you?

Shetlands · 25/07/2025 13:47

Corbyn and Farage are two cheeks of the same arse. Both as thick as bricks, both incapable of understanding anything complex or nuanced. Both can only offer simplistic solutions to multi-faceted problems. Both bigoted, anti-semitic, regressive, arrogant narcissists.

And it’ll certainly do that.

Indeed. There are enough Jew haters around to vote for Steptoe.

KassandraOfSparta · 25/07/2025 13:56

"supposed to be interested" - says who, and how do you quantify "interested"? Interested as in - what a pair of eejits, will be interesting to see how this plays out. Or interested as in - well it's good that there is a left-wing party, might consider voting for them. Or interested as it - sign me up now, Jezza is the saviour of the world?

ayepecking · 25/07/2025 13:57

Well Labour in their wisdom have given 16 / 17 year old votes.

bigboykitty · 25/07/2025 14:03

Falsely and maliciously accusing individuals of being antisemitic, is in itself an act of antisemitism and damaging to Jewish people
