So far 20,000 people supposed to be interested.
What do people think
Is there any possibility of him stopping illegal immigration.
So far I haven't seen anything about immigration on anything about his party
But it's early days ,you never know .

You're beyond naive if you think communism is the answer.

I hope millions do sign up though as it'll keep Labour out of power.

They’re not communists! 🤣

@PistachioTiramisuLimoncellowhen he ran for PM a few elections ago he got more votes than starmer…..

It’s not about votes it’s about constituencies.
The next election could be Aug 2029. It’s not like we are voting now is it?

tobee · 25/07/2025 23:45

Well it's great if he can actually do that @bigboykitty. He's bound to do better than Trump anyway.

I'm not sure I'm putting an insane spin on anything. He has form for backing terrorists. Or maybe his supporters consider them freedom fighters?

Have you got a link to the one you've started?

No. Think it’s all being covered in the current two really. However, if you don’t think it is, would you genuinely like me to start one and then share you the link? Let me know 🥰

Sandyoldelbows · 26/07/2025 06:36

I’m a grown up, so no.

LadyGaGasPokerFace · 26/07/2025 06:40

I don’t know why Corbyn thinks he’s likeable? He’s just an aged commie. He’ll take Diane Abacus with him the rate she’s going at the Labour Party.

Izz81 · 26/07/2025 07:19

Far left is just as damaging and destructive as Far Right, its different pathways to the same end. Absolutely not!

This country is not in a good way, this is decades in the making before people start throwing Brexit around, this in truth started to show signs post WW2 such as mass debt and industries linked to the war were overextended while others were hugely outdated such as domestic power and railways and certainly was exhibiting a decline by the 70s with reduced industrial output, IMF bailing us out, derelict buildings everywhere, frequent power cuts, high inflation it goes on but the truth is it never got fixed we just kept ourselves above water, the 80s so a artificial generation of wealth from
right to buy, which helped continue in to the 90s but in truth it fixed nothing and most of the wealth generated got imprisoned in bricks and mortar and generally is locked up by the boomer generation.

Now, its far worse than at any point I have lived through. The country is shabby, run down and tired. Public services are underfunded and oversubscribed. On a monthly basis it seems
more crimes are allowed to go
unpunished. Women's public safety seems to be now going backwards not forward! The population is splintered through a multitude of lines. The inequality is greater now but with zero incentives addressing all inequality, rather a select smokescreen that only certain communities are affected which is half the reason for Reforms support! They say the percentage of White British in poverty is far less than all other ethnic groups except Indian and Chinese - at 19%…What they dont say is 19% equals around 9 million individuals! Bengali community is at 60% and thr overwhelmingly highest ethnic minority group in poverty….but as a figure thats around 257,000 in the UK, in fact when you tally up all figures from all ethnic minority groups combined it doesn't come anywhere near the number in poverty for White British…Yet the state use percentages when it suits and figures when it suits, to keep the smokescreen up to keep division up clearly the last thing they want for all of us to realise that actually everyone is being screwed over by the state!

But Far Left and Far Right are not the answer!

we need a balanced approach! Moderation is key. Not runaway capitalism and not stagnating socialism but a balance. We cannot keep going with utterly unsustainable immigration figures, legal and illegal, but we do need immigration. We cannot keep heavily relying on imports and fragile global trade routes we must start to manufacture and produce from within, but we must work with other countries to strengthen trade and stabilise routes. We cannot keep allowing corporates to profiteer in to the stratosphere while people increasingly struggle, but we rely on those very same corporates to keep paying wages to the general
population and keep the country moving. We need to find a balance.

it really is a delicate balance, even going to the left or right can cause huge issues but going far right or far left just tips it over a cliff!

History has rhymed this consistently, do not be tempted by extremes.

TruckDiver · 26/07/2025 07:36

I've signed up. It's a left wing party so only going to be of relevance to you if you have left wing sympathies and want to see left wing policies enacted. Corbyn is an international socialist and not particularly concerned about immigration - he's more concerned about redistributing economic power and protecting workers from exploitation wherever they happen to come from. So you're looking in the wrong place if that's your priority.

Did you really compare Cobryn to Kim Jong Un? cobryn isnt a commie 😂

HermioneWeasley · 25/07/2025 13:02

He’s a hard left anti semitic nut job as is Sultana.

he absolutely won’t tackle immigration, there will be an open borders policy, if they manage to have any policies at all that aren’t about Gaza.

he’s more dangerous than reform because he actually believes what comes out of his mouth and isn’t an opportunist

This . The man and his disciples are very dangerous .

User32459 · 26/07/2025 07:57

Even most of his own Labour MPs went out of their way to stop him becoming Prime Minister.

Easipeelerie · 26/07/2025 08:07

I think it won’t take off. There seems to be a lot of obsession with immigration on this thread.

WorriedMutha · 26/07/2025 08:12

I won't be wasting my time on a protest vote without a hope of power. I'm bored of being told Corbyn got more votes than Starmer. To gain power you need constituencies. Stacking up votes in London and middle class enclaves will get you nowhere. Starmer won a landslide by gaining seats with thin majorities. He will probably lose many of them next time. You can't win by appealing to a narrow sector.
Starmer has to chose between veering right to appease voters tempted by Reform or left to attract the Greens and Jezza luvvies. I think Reform are the much more credible opposition (small boats, know what a woman is). I think Starmer is smart enough not to waste time on Jezza.

Such bollocks

PestoHoliday · 26/07/2025 14:55

Hell no, he was a disaster as a Labour leader, actively hates the EU, believes in gender woo, favours Hamas and couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

I wish Labour had some proper left wing policies, nationalised water and stopped pissing about bickering with itself.

Pieceofpurplesky · 26/07/2025 15:20

He called Hamas a terrorist group and said Israel committed acts of terrorism. He wanted to get all side to talk to prevent escalation. Would you say he was wrong?

I’m definitely not a disciple 😂
I just appreciate why people have signed up to this.
Clearly Zarah and Jezza have more integrity and common decency than most MPs.
Immigration isn’t the massive problem people have been led to believe it is. By racists.
We need to stop facilitating a genocide.
We need to tax the rich more.
Keir has been disappointing so far.
I’m concerned.
I’m worried about splitting the “left” vote.
I’m disgusted by Reform.
But I can completely understand why people with a moral compass would vote for J & S 🤷🏻‍♀️

He’s a far more decent human being than most MPs.

Most MPs haven’t been regularly paid to be on the state tv of Iran, the world’s largest sponsor of global terrorism.

Decent people do not call Hamas and Hezbollah ‘friends’, lay wreaths for Islamist terrorists (while pretending he didn’t know what it was for) or share anti-Semitic artwork (but claimed he hadn’t looked closely enough to see).

He supports a lot of awful people and hasn’t even got the moral conviction or courage to be honest about it. Not my idea of decent.

TheAmusedQuail · 26/07/2025 22:44

Me! Several friends and family members also.

Can you elaborate
Why immigration is not the problem made out to be
And why you think it is racist to care about immigration

But what happens when there are no houses to put the alyslum seekers in ,when they have alyslum granted and have to move on from where they were waiting.
What about the many many British families in temporary accommodation, whole family's in one room of beds ,with a microwave to cook with . bringing children up in that environment while waiting years for council housing that doesn't exist.
Should these British families not be the priority for housing

I think it's a great idea. If it will split the left vote, we stand an even better chance of getting rid of this shambles of a govt. I thought the conservatives were bad, but this lot have it in for Britain and it's citizens.
