I read what I thought was a very valid point (unless I’m missing something?) somewhere in the morass of social media I waded through today - if Obama and Biden made up the Epstein files as a hoax, why on earth didn’t they release the “hoax" files when they were in power, and dump Trump in it then, themselves?

O the noise of Concord, horrendous. As well as living in Hounslow, I worked for a while for British Airways in offices which were practically on the runway. When Concord used to take off, my instinct was to hide under the desk to shelter from what always felt like imminent destruction on its way. Never did though. Wasn't sad to see it make its last journey.

The US embassy staff are notorious for not paying parking fines/congestion charges etc. They argue they have diplomatic immunity and local “taxes” don’t apply to them. It’s been going on for years, I think they behave this way in every country.

I was once told (when I stayed in Africa) that Coke used to tweak the formula depending on the market. Because African Coke was sweeter than the Coke I was used to.

I have to say in all my years there has never been anything remotely close to Coke. Which is interesting. If science can't work out what's in Coke to reproduce it, then I think we aren't that clever yet .....
