Good to hear that the bombings have ceased (for now) but, like many others, my cynical side wonders about the somewhat staged nature of the last few days. Lives may have been lost, but that's never been a concern for Netanyahu or the Ayatollah and Trump just doesn't have the bandwidth to understand armed conflict. He's going to strut around the NATO Summit today and think he's 'The Man'. Iran will bide its time now and the rest of the western world is still a target.

NATO leaders are heading to The Hague for a two-day summit designed less for big strategy than careful stage management.
The goal is to keep it short, keep it smooth — and keep Trump from blowing it up.
