What jobs would you be most scared to do?

Prison officer in a high security prison
in the army in a country at war.

Security guard. I was just talking to our security guard about his past experiences. He said he had a knife pulled on him several times.

high pressure diver (where you had to live in a tin can 1000s of ft below the sea for months).
Or anything involving being down a cave or in a submarine.

People I can deal with....tiny spaces, not so much!

lots but the other day I was talking to a friend who was a stonemason working on top of a cathedral! no way could i do any job which involved heights!
do not think I could work in a cattery can cope with dogs but cat poop is evil! imaging cleaning out rows of cat boxes yukky
a vet mainly because dealing with the heartbreak of having to put an animal to sleep even if to relieve pain would break me. i recently had a dog pts who was very ill but I still have not got over it

Right now, Probation Officer… which I am 🙈 so much responsibility for so little pay! I witnessed a knife attack outside the office a few weeks ago and it really hit home how vulnerable we are seeing highly dangerous people with no real security!

I read the title and thought to myself ‘none really….’ But then I read everyone’s comments with a ‘no, couldn’t do that…. Couldn’t do that either…no, not that…’

So it turns out I’d be too scared to do lots of jobs…

The Ambulance programme on TV last night makes me feel very anxious ! I was a Nurse for 30 years and that was bad enough.

Any job that involves F2F contact with people in distress as unpredictable: ie
Prison guard (prisons understaffed and under-resourced) Ambulance worker.

Sex worker. Even a good 'appointment' is abusive & at constant risk of violence.

I'd also not like to work in a job where I was possibly having to deny vulnerable people they help they may well deserve. So DWP, legal, customs, deportation.

Wreck diver. Phobias of everything involved.

Screening videos for violence/abuse.

My most unpopular political opinion is that I think we should double their pay and revise their conditions to help the people who do it stay calm and mentally well

Working on top of those windmill wind farms just off the coast or deep diving engineering type of things.
I can't even look at a ship or submarine but I do love the sea.

I’d love to be an MP were it not for the publicity and the press, and the fact that it’s not just you, it’s your family as well. Jobs I would hate - policeman, submariner, deep sea diver, farmer - I’d hate being outside in all weathers. I wouldn’t really want a job where you had no idea what your day would look like.

On a submarine (watched that drama series a few years ago set on a navy submarine, felt claustrophobic just watching a pretend tv show, I’ve got no idea how real people live on them for months at a time 😱)

Not exactly a job, but I'd hate to be the parent of a child TV star. Just seeing some of the nasty comments made about the actors confirmed for Harry Potter this week...esp for the girl playing Hermione.

I thought the same. I’ve been a nurse for 21 years and I love it. Always fancied being a paramedic, but I think I would be crap at it!

It’s so creepy how everything I’ve seen online has been about Arabella. Barely a mensh of the boys. Same with Princess Charlotte. Creepy asf.
