Answer A Question & Ask A Question!

Answer the question left before you and leave a question for the next person to post.

I shall begin with an opening question, as this is the first post.

Waves on the beach. Have you ever seen anything supernatural or that your couldn't explain?

Needlenardlenoo · 26/05/2025 18:25

I am not particularly nervous or suggestible. I stayed in the Mermaid Inn in Rye once with my very matter of fact Dr friend. Woah that place has a creepy feel to it! We started out in separate rooms and ended up in the same one 😂.

Red wine or white?

iseethembloom · 26/05/2025 18:57

Red.

so, a link with the last question, do ghosts exist?

BigFatBully · 26/05/2025 19:03

Yes, they do.

Hot tub.

Marmite or Vegemite?

AnnParrot · 27/05/2025 09:01

Absolutely Marmite. For always and forever.

What has been your best purchase, in a surprising way? Something that has changed your life but you didn't know you needed it?

Needlenardlenoo · 27/05/2025 09:23

This is a bit boring, but pdf writing/editing software (not Adobe, although Adobe is fantastic if you want to index a big pile of documents). I bought a year's subscription to a cheaper service and I can now delete pages from pdfs, combine them, re-order them etc.

Or the $5 microwave rice cooker we bought on a whim in Singapore 23 years ago!

Long life or a happy one?

BigFatBully · 02/06/2025 09:00

Happy

What is the furthest place in the world that you've travelled to?

OP posts:
TaggieO · 02/06/2025 09:02

Mauritius. Where the actual fuck could I have put my left trainer?

BigFatBully · 02/06/2025 09:05

In the utility room perhaps?

Do you line-dry your laundry or use a tumble-dryer?

OP posts:
iseethembloom · 02/06/2025 09:41

How many pieces of IKEA furniture do you have in your house?

Time to yourself in the morning before everyone is up, or at night after they go sleep ?

BigFatBully · 02/06/2025 16:26

At night, always better to relax and enjoy myself after all of the chores are done.

Would you ever consider getting a pet dog?

OP posts:
iseethembloom · 02/06/2025 17:18

No, never, because I know I’d get intensely attached to it, and when it got ill at the end of its life I’d be releasing equity hand over fist and pawning everything I own to keep it alive. It’s why I’ve never had and will never had a dog.

What state of un/cleanliness is your fridge in right now?

BigFatBully · 02/06/2025 17:24

Very clean and tidy at the moment.

Have you ever been to Alton Towers?

OP posts:
iseethembloom · 02/06/2025 17:35

No! But I wanted to so very badly when I was a young teen. My parents were the opposite of child-centred and we lived quite a distance away, so it never happened. I don’t want to go in quite the same way anymore.

If you had to have a long (non-sexual) weekend away with

  • Michael Portillo,
  • Jools Holland,
  • Paul Hollywood
  • Peter Kay
  • Liam Gallagher
  • just the two of you - who’d it be? (Deliberately very mixed multiple choice)
MummytoE · 02/06/2025 17:46

I think I would need to go Peter Kay, for the laughs!
