Answer A Question & Ask A Question!

Answer the question left before you and leave a question for the next person to post.

Strunck and White, The Elements of Style. Comma splices, begone!!

If you were invisible for a day, what would you do?

DeSoleil · 25/05/2025 20:46

There is a couple that I don’t like, so whilst invisible I would sneak into their house as they opened a door and then I would move things around and hide them so each blamed the other. If one walked into a room I would slam the door very loudly behind them so that the other one would be very cross! That kind of thing!

What would you wear if invited to a fancy dress party tomorrow and didn’t have time to buy anything new?

iseethembloom · 25/05/2025 21:42

A long blue dress with a paper cleopatra mask and an Egyptian-style necklace, all of which I already have.

why do so many people believe in chemtrails?

BigFatBully · 25/05/2025 22:18

Because there are strange patterns in the sky that there didn't used to be and behaviour from authorities since 2020 has made people question motives/agendas.

The Beatles can’t sing and McCartney is very irritating so I haven’t explored Wings 🫣

Whats your fave ad campaign ever?

Thoughts on Nathan Fielder’s The Curse?

DeSoleil · 26/05/2025 08:57

No thoughts at all as I’ve never heard mod it but googled and saw it’s a tv show. I don’t watch tv.l
Whitney and Asher Siegel are a newlywed couple struggling to bring their vision for eco-conscious housing to the small community of Española, N.M. But their efforts are complicated by an alleged curse and an eccentrically flawed reality TV producer, Dougie, who sees opportunity in their story. As the series unfolds, the couple find themselves caught in a mysterious web of ethical and moral gray zones - all while trying to keep their relationship afloat and conceive a child. ‘

Sounds like a dreary load of crap.

If you could only eat the same meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

iseethembloom · 26/05/2025 11:58

It would likely be a roast dinner - any roasted meat - but heavy on veg: carrots, cabbage, sprouts, broccoli.

What is your proudest achievement ? (Not your children - we assume you are proud of them)
