Good Morning Everyone! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa, in my kitchen spot. Dd2's been down already to feed the kittens and make herself some toast. The three of them have gone off back upstairs - presumably back to bed.

Dd's off out for a Tesco meal deal picnic with one of her best friends later on. They do it every couple of weeks, so long as the weather's not awful.

I'm off to the market for some fresh fruit and salad & Dd1's coming with me (I did ask dd2 but she wanted to meet her friend!). Since the weather's nice, I think we might have a steady walk into town, and stop off for a drink somewhere we can sit outside 🍸.

Depending what time we get in, I might do some crafting of some sort for a couple of hours. I have A Squash and A Squeeze peg dolls on the go, for a display at work, and a crochet project I need to work out what size to make by measuring myself, so probably one of those.

Then it's leftover Chinese for tea & maybe an hour in the garden with my book after a shower.

After a chilly week the nice weather is back so I've thrown all the windows and doors open and I'll crack on with the washing.

Off for first lot of swimming lessons, then home for snacks and round two of swimming lessons.

I'll make some sandwiches and nibbles and we'll have lunch outside somewhere. Maybe along the canal or at the local splash park. Then we'll hit the adventure playground, it has a family day until 5pm.

Dinner will be something nice and easy - probably fajitas. And then we'll just relax later.... maybe a film or some board games.

Had a cuppa and toast and now half watching the News and scrolling.

DD13 has got up, had her breakfast and now retreated to her room.

I need to pop to the shops in a mo to go to Chemists and will probably do a mimi top up shop. I also want to pick up a hard broom as might give my patio a going over later (an exciting life I do lead).

Hopefully, will try and prize DD out of her room later for a walk and then pizza for tea with Dr Who!

We’re off for a walk. Just need to grab some picnic bits first.

I might cut a dress out later - the fabric is Liberty deadstock in giant black and white gingham and I’m a bit worried I’ll look like a picnic rug.

Drunken noodles for dinner.

Morning. Just sat in the sunshine with the dog having an iced coffee.

Need to clean the house later and pop out to post a few Vinted parcels. Over £100 of stuff so must do asap!

Got friends over late afternoon for predrinks in the garden before we head out for an 80s night. Leg warmers at the ready!

Good morning @lucysmam! We know each other from other threads (gingerbread 🙂). Hope you're all well!

We have just had our coffee in bed and I've taken my antibiotics for a sinus infection. Bleugh it's the worst one I've ever had so I'm glad it's finally on the mend, touch wood.

In a few minutes I will make us toast and eggs and a cuppa.

DH is going to do some refurb work on the bathroom today, trying out some new equipment. I'm just going to rest and relax, other than preparing meals.

It's a beautiful day so later we'll go for a drive; usually we'd go for a long walk on a day like this, but I don't think I'm up to it today.

Need to pop into Morrisons for a few bits - herbs and so on for a rolled pork belly porchetta we're having for dinner tomorrow.

I hung out a load of washing last night which is probably already dry, so I'll do another one this morning. Whites and lights, I think.

We're going to have Thai green curry for dinner, with chicken, aubergine, green beans and bamboo shoots.

This evening we'll just chill and maybe have some mocktails as we're both middle-aged now and not up to drinking very often anymore (plus we're both watching our health for various reasons). I'll probably do a bit of virtual window shopping but I can't buy because I've already treated myself to lots of things for my birthday this month.

I’m going to the races at Haydock.

Morning all! I’m helping DS with homework and revision this morning, SATs start on Monday. DP will take DD to her gym class. This afternoon we’re off to an event at a local park which will hopefully tire them out! Steak and salad for dinner, hopefully eaten in the garden. Have a lovely day everyone.

Busy day today. I dropped DD to work. Currently in a cafe having breakfast. I need to pick up some plant pots in the garden centre. And look for some cropped trousers. Then do my grocery shop.

I'm due at the hairdresser's at 1 o'clock.

Heading to a show later - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Good morning all. I'm just making some bacon and cream cheese bagels before doing one or two chores. Then I think we'll have a fairly quiet day as we have a big day out planned for tomorrow. Me and DS will probably do a bit of baking – we might finally get those cheese scones made! Mostly we'll be looking for our cat today though as he stayed out all night last night for the first time and hasn't turned back up this morning so we're a bit worried about him. Bloody cats!

I had the worst nights sleep last night just couldn’t sleep for more than a couple of hours so I got up early did a wash and hung it out
Made a coffee and prepared a fruit salad and had some with yoghurt
Going to have another coffee whilst I wait for the second wash to finish
Dh is still in bed
Dd came back from university yesterday and stayed at her boyfriend’s last night she’s working later
Not sure if Dh has any plans if not might go to a local garden centre to get some plants for the pots
Probably have either jacket potato’s or a salad later

Our older dog is now 12 and can't go all night any longer without a wee so we were up at 5.45am. I made a cup of tea and went back to bed to catch up on Chicago Fire and Med! Now we're up, dogs are fed, dishwasher and washing machine are loaded and on, DH is at golf (hurrah!) and I'm waiting for my youngest DD and SIL to arrive - we're off on a long dog walk. It's a gorgeous day here, so looking forward to enjoying some sunshine.

Kitchen cleared away from last night, wash on and just sitting with a brew waiting for that to finish so I can hang it out. Then will grab a shower and do an hours work. Dog walk via for the playground after and not sure what’s planned for this afternoon, dp is still in a sulk and no idea why. Need to pop and get my son a birthday cake though, 8 tomorrow, time flies! Peri peri chicken, sweet potato and long stem broccoli for dinner and probably an early night ready for the madness of tomorrow! Oh and I also need to wrap 2 presents that are arriving at some point this morning.

Good morning @lucysmam & everyone. In bed waiting for DH to get home from work so he can shower me & wash my hair. Very frustrating not to be independent! Had a cuppa brought to me about 7.30 & will have another after my shower. Then off to an out of town shopping centre as I need a strapless bra. DD16 might come too. DH wants to go for a bike ride this afternoon. He needs to clean the bathroom & change our sheet. I’m going to order a new phone, probably an I Phone 15. Chicken kievs, frozen jacket spuds & petitpois for tea. Will watch BGT. Looks like another lovely sunny day so I’ll hopefully sit in the garden with the bunnies at some point. They are helping to cheer me up.

dontforgetme I’d be tempted to say to your DP that your almost 8 year old son is more mature than him! Can’t be doing with sulkers!

I woke at 9am.
Going to do some laundry and pop that in the dryer and sort my recycling bin out.
Then spend the rest of the day chilling out doing nothing.
I do have 2 fresh cream doughnuts splits in the fridge have those later with a coffee.

I am taking my kids for hair cuts. Then they both have a birthday party, then home to watch the football later. May have dinner in the garden.

I've thought of something else!
I have sorted out garden table, chairs, parasol, so hopefully some outdoor eating and I can make a carafe of sparkling water with fruit and mint bits in and pretend I am watching the world go by in Rome!

🤣 @frozendaisy dd1 starts her A Level exams next week...I get an eye roll and "What do you think I've been doing?" every time I suggest revision might be the way to go!

Good morning @lucysmam & All, it’s a beautiful sunny morning here, ZDOG2 and I have had an hour’s leisurely walk along the bridleway and across a meadow full of cowslips - they smelt amazing. She’s sleeping now.
DH has taken ZDog1 out for a long walk, too far for me at c8 miles.
I have a grocery shop delivery at midday, nothing else planned but I will definitely get on with a drawing I started yesterday.
All the windows are open, it’s cool and peaceful here.

Just Got a roofrack fitted to car
made a list of other stuff to do when
Charity shop to look for something useful (leaving in 5)
Window repair to start
hobby activity with others this afternoon
big cycle ride to go see my adult kids
This evening need to book some accommodation abroad

In bed planning on going back to sleep.
