What's Brooklyn up to nowadays? First it was photography and then cooking?

skirtingcurtain · 03/05/2025 10:13

He's also thick as mince which massively decreases his appeal IMO. Can't be doing with a thicko.

He's made a lot of money out of being a thicko 🙄

IsThePopeCatholic · 03/05/2025 10:13

He seems like a decent bloke, but the way he has shmoozed with the Saudis and Qataris is despicable. I don’t find him attractive physically either.

NavyTiger · 03/05/2025 10:14

mjf981 · 03/05/2025 06:26

I've always liked a bit of David.

And I think he's just a generally good regular bloke who got lucky (skill, looks, right place/time).

Just a bit I'd like him all 😂

Middleagedstriker · 03/05/2025 10:16

Whatahardlife · 03/05/2025 06:37

Yes he does.

He revels in adulation.

I can't stand the man or people of either sex who are similarly in love with themselves.

I couldn't stand his attitude when he was on the football field either.

Edited

What attitude are you thinking of?
I've seen him play lots and apart from that one incident he was better behaved than most of his era. Did I miss something?

BeNiceWhenItsFinished · 03/05/2025 10:08

It's funny how people still believe that tabloid 'story' about the so-called cheating. It has been repeated so often that everybody assumes it must be true. It ain't.

He admitted to it.

ThePoshUns · 03/05/2025 10:19

He is a serial cheater. He’s just been lucky to afford NDAs. I’ve read Tom Bowers book House of Beckham, it’s all in there and never been challenged by him.

cramptramp · 03/05/2025 10:20

I think he’d look lots better if he stopped dying his hair and descended slowly into a silver fox.

SoScarletItWas · 03/05/2025 10:24

skirtingcurtain · 03/05/2025 10:11

do we really think she wouldn’t have taken him to the cleaners if he had had an affair?

what?

What yourself 🤣

What I said. What do you mean?

I couldn’t care less whether he had an affair. It’s up to them what they do, if he did. I still maintain she could have done fine well from divorcing him, so I’m surprised she didn’t.

Gettingbysomehow · 03/05/2025 10:24

Not my type at all. I like rough old bikers.

GroovyChick87 · 03/05/2025 10:28

This isn't what this thread is about. People are going to find members of the opposite sex sexually attractive. It's human nature and nothing will get in the way of that. He's sitting in a provocative pose in this picture, probably with the intention of being seen as sexually appealing. He is a very attractive man but not my cup of tea, personally. I find pictures of my own celeb crush sexy.
Sorry, this was meant to quote the poster who said about objectifying men.

skirtingcurtain · 03/05/2025 10:32

@SoScarletItWas there are loads of reasons people don't divorce after an affair. I don't think it's a surprise she didn't.

Exactly. Humans and other animals are going to find others of their species sexually attractive (not necessarily the opposite sex though!) It's kinda what keeps life on earth going.
DBs pose above suggests he's more than happy to be looked at appreciatively.

All this "objectifying" nonsense is silly.

MoistVonL · 03/05/2025 10:33

Changeissmall · 03/05/2025 07:44

Never understood this one. He always seemed a bit muppety in the face. There I go being mean.
He’s a perfectly nice looking bloke but the extreme adulation is baffling. A bit like the claims Eric Cantona was a poetic genius because he stood out from the crowd and was a great footballer.

Now Cantona, that’s a bloke who’s aged into handsome.
Gnomic statements included - he seemed to me a bloke having a laugh at everyone taking him seriously.

RaraRachael · 03/05/2025 10:46

A man covered in tattoos does nothing for me.

MoominMai · 03/05/2025 10:54

Blingismything · 03/05/2025 07:34

Too greasy looking for me, also he has small eyes.

Ooh no, small squinty hooded eyes in men are my favourite trait! Mysterious and sexy haha 😅

ItGhoul · 03/05/2025 10:55

I’ve met him a couple of times and he was incredibly nice. He’s also not thick at all. He’s not particularly articulate, but he’s not daft by any stretch.

I don’t actually fancy him at all, oddly - I don’t know why. But as a football fan I’ve got a massive soft spot for him as a player. He was brilliant to watch. And when I watched him play for England, he seemed far more respectful and grateful to the fans than pretty much anyone else on the pitch. It was really obvious to me, as someone in the crowd, how much playing for England meant to him, which was in stark contrast to a lot of his England team mates at the time.

Chewbecca · 03/05/2025 10:59

I think he is gorgeous too, twinkly. I preferred him before the tatts.

And agree he should grow old more naturally, a bit of grey hair would look good, plus he seems to have started on the 'tweakments' and I fear heading into Simon Cowell looks.

RosesAndHellebores · 03/05/2025 11:04

I agree with @ItGhoul. I met him when he was about 17 (I'm almost old enough to be his mother) and he was a polite lad. He also came across as very nice, sensible and disciplined on Desert Island Discs. I was impressed when I hadn't expected to be.

But beautiful. He isn't unattractive but what might have been very attractive is totally negated by the indiscreet and overuse of ink imo which I think is very unattractive indeed.

I have never thought his wife attractive in the slightest. She exudes little grace or style in my opinion.

I take it you're a biker!

Whatahardlife · 03/05/2025 06:31

It's absolutely gross the way men objectify women.

And ogle them and their photos.

And it's equally gross when a woman does this to a man.

Objectification is more complicated than simply looking at a picture of someone and finding their body attractive. Enjoying looking at someone you find physically attractive - whether it’s a man looking at a woman or a woman looking at a man, or people of the same sex looking at each other - is not, in itself, objectification. There are other factors needed. It is normal and natural for human beings to find each other beautiful or sexy and to enjoy that.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 03/05/2025 11:09

With all those tattoos, IMO ‘beautiful’ is a matter of opinion.

MeAndMyGhost · 03/05/2025 11:13

Subjectively, I find him good looking, but not for me (I'm sure he's gutted!).

Happy birthday David.

JudgeyJudie · 03/05/2025 11:14

Nah, don't like a cheat. It's instantly off putting

SwedishEdith · 03/05/2025 11:16

I think he was pretty when he was younger. But the tattoos are really naff and he's started to make a mess of his face now. He needs to stop now otherwise he'll get used to that distorted look keep adjusting his face too far. I don't find him remotely attractive though (I'm sure he's gutted) - the voice and lack of any deep insights into anything make him come across as quite a pleasant but dull person.
