The duller the better!

I’ll start… I couldn’t decide which yoghurt to have, so had a few spoonfuls of both. Cherry, then Mango and Passionfruit.

I've had a blocked nose for weeks today I blew out the biggest boogey I've seen in my life. The relief was amazing.

I can confirm my steak, roasted sprouts and colcannon mash with a mushroom sauce (both chestnut and oyster as I got them reduced) was absolutely delicious. The steak (sirloin) was on offer for £3 and it was so tender and delicious. I feel like I’ve been out for a slap up meal when in reality it only took 10/15 minutes to prep and cook everything.

The dog I’m looking after is less impressed though. Despite being under my feet while cooking, the only thing I dropped was half of a chestnut mushroom and he tried it then gave me a dirty look before spitting it on the floor.

I have just noticed that DH has gone to bed, but the television programme about doing up old bangers he was watching is still on.

Someone woke me up at 5am starting their motorbike I couldn't get back to sleep after that.

I am having a lovely boring old-fashioned egg and ham salad for tea.
With lashings of cucumber and tomatoes.
Not a falafel or any honey-roasted garlic feta balls in sight.

I forgot to buy milk at the shops

That’s what I had for lunch. With some home made potato salad left over from yesterday. It brought me immense but quiet joy.

my boring fact. I got food down both my top and bottoms today. Fortunately not beetroot from my aforementioned traditional salad.

I went to a beer garden today and it rained on us.

the longest day on saturday was absolutely the longest day, early dog walk then stuck inside with the fan on and the curtains and the windows closed
out for a drink and to see a band in the evening but i didnt dance and i drunk far too much. that last drink was a mistake

i bought a foldable laundry basket from Flying Tiger, now it is hanging up in the kitchen with all the large bags, that arent in the back of the car. ingenious

I cut my thumb pulling toilet roll out of my backpack (to use in a pit toilet at a national park). I asked a stranger if they had a plaster but they didn't so I had to just drip blood everywhere.

Our Original Factory Shop is closing down so I popped in to have a look. Ended up buying a pair of slippers, pair of Rocket Dog boots, 3 pairs of fluffy grippy socks and 2 t shirts for DH and it was all only £23. My feet should be sorted in the winter then.

I did ironing today.

I decided to clean the house today, but then I thought it'd be a great time to re-sand and re-oil the worktops. Really bad decision there's now sanding dust everywhere and i had guests arrive this evening.

Silly decisions I make that backfire. I blame ADHD

I was given a bar of dark chocolate flavoured with ginger and baobab by a friend who bought it on holiday and I've just finished eating it.

It did not taste of baobab.

Got a thumping headache that I've had all day

Spent the morning taking a plumber round all the things that need doing. Sorted.

It's Wednesday so I'll check out the centre aisle madness at Aldi this arvo.

dd is getting into a habit of missing the bus, i chased the next bus down for her, and made myself 5 minutes late for work
she made it today, by the skin of her teeth

Same kind of decision my bloke would make. Also ADHD to blame. Came home one day to find he had taken apart the heat pump to clean the vents. He was only supposed to vacuum the floors! Place was dustier than before he started cleaning.

I am going out later - but not far.

I gave away an ice cube tray on Olio.

I am thinking about putting a wash on.

I went back to the Original Factory Shop to see if I could get the firepit I saw there yesterday. It was gone. I did get a little hanging bee hotel that I can attach to our tree near my bee garden though.

I tripped up and apologised to someone else who wasn't anywhere near me. They looked a bit embarrassed.
