Tap Water, at home do you drink it, or have bottled?

Ours tastes a bit chloriney and not nice.
Am thinking to either :

get a water filter...would this help?
Or just drink bottled water

What do you drink?

Our tap water is amazingly nice. I’ve lived in countries where you can’t drink tap water and I’m still amazed that I have tap water in my house that’s absolutely lovely to drink.

We buy flavoured water sometimes but we drink the tap water from both downstairs and upstairs even though my mum told me you couldn’t drink the water from the bathroom tap growing up 🤷‍♀️

Older houses drew the cold water in the bathroom from a water tank. In newer houses all cold water is from the mains and is safe to drink.

I boil mine. I've had problems with it causing me stomach problems in the past.

We can't drink the upstairs water because it's softened. We add sacks of chemicals to it. It's common in hard water areas.

Will a filter jug help?
