I would assume counterterrorism is pretty standard at this stage? Anything's possible, but it doesn't strike me as the grand gesture way a hostile foreign actor would go about sabotage. My money's still on un-maintained UK infrastructure, but openly saying I could be wrong.

Ooh I just remembered I came on here to find out what Trump was crapping on about from WH just now. I turned the tv news on (rare event for me these days) to see about Heathrow and it was orange monstrosity instead so I quickly turned off and hoped you guys would know instead?

On another note, I am so tired of all these people and organisations kowtowing to this crap. Columbia University's endowment is enormous. Why don't they tell him to shove his federal funds and use some of that enormous fucking lump of cash they sit on (mostly to buy up New York real estate) to fucking fund science and education? Why don't these powerful law firms stand up? Why is CBS caving? Why is Chuck Schumer so spineless? Why is Paul Weiss such an absolute disgrace?

If just one of these wealthy, powerful people or institutions or companies took a stand, I guarantee more would follow.

To be fair I think they’re talking about military planning for any potential conflict with China. Either way though I don’t like the idea of Elon having his grubby mitts anywhere near any of it!

Maybe we can get him to sign something about joining the Commonwealth that means he accepts KC as Head of State in exchange for something shiny and meaningless - I’m sure we can think up a tawdry Honour that will distract him?

Heck maybe we can get him to renounce independence and they can go back to being a colony 😜
