Think it was around the early 2000s and I successfully won a bundle of films. Robin Hood prince of thieves, Sense and Sensibility and Truly Madly Deeply (I was going through an Alan Rickman crush at the time). All on VHS 😳.

A striped blouse, originally from next. I won it in 2004. I still have it.

A very nice linen trouser suit from Hobbs in 2006, back when their Linen was fantastic quality. Eventually the cut began to look dated, but I loved that suit.

A chest of drawers originally from Heals. Had it about 15 years. Not sure I've bought anything on Ebay since tbh.

I think furniture is probably the only thing I haven't bought. Every single other form of life seems to exist on my purchase history.

A rare vintage Hello Kitty backpack in the shape of an old TV set.

KohlaParasaurus · 15/03/2025 15:12

Some bamboo knitting yarn in 2011. I thought it might be good for mindless dishcloth knitting while I needed something to do with my hands, but it was horrible to work with.

slavetothekittens · 15/03/2025 15:13

A Pokémon bag.

alittlequinnie · 15/03/2025 15:14

A cranberry glass bowl. Was very impressed with ebay at the time. Think it was about 2002.

I'm now up to more than 4,700 items - I buy everything on there - including my slipper bath!

Just added Vinted to the team too!

MeAndMyGhost · 15/03/2025 15:17

A Tula purse and then got accused of being cahoots with the seller as I really wanted it and bid what I wanted to pay 😬

ChungkingExpress · 15/03/2025 15:23

That’s just reminded me I once got accused of shill bidding just because I put in a ridiculously high starting bid for a rare DVD.

I actually just couldn’t be bothered with the endless biding. Nearly lost my account!

AndStand · 15/03/2025 15:23

A Thomas the Tank Engine train

Ford Puma - around 2003.

A set of 90s Viz Annuals for DH's Christmas present in c. 2002.

ProfYaffle · 15/03/2025 15:45

A Trip Trapp style knock off high chair for DD1 when she was starting to wean. I burned the carrots I was cooking for her first meal because I didn't want to lose the auction. She turns 21 in a few weeks. Smile

TabloidFootprints · 15/03/2025 15:50

A video box set of Buffy Season 5. It was around 2000/2001 I think, I was in a flatshare and used to watch it in the morning before work because everyone else left before me.

allfurcoatnoknickers · 15/03/2025 16:07

A cashmere hoody in 2005! It was pale pink and I used to sleep in it in my freezing student halls.

Haha, I buy way too much on there too. It's just too easy.

Be warned, vinted is lethal. Who knew there were so many clothes out there that I never knew I needed!
