Good morning from the train to London King's X! I'm on the way to the applicants day at Westminster Uni with dd1 who wants to study Law there.

We were up super early, fed the kittens, sorted washing and left the house at 6:30am <yawn>.

Plan is applicants day until noon ish, then wander - Camden maybe? Or somewhere else? I fancy a market to wander if anyone wants to recommend somewhere!

Dd2's stayed at home with their dad - they were asked to come with us but 2 hours mooching without purpose & a 7am train did not appeal 🤷‍♀️

She probably needs a slow day anyway after Gracie Abrams in Leeds on Thursday, then an exam yesterday 💤

Good morning! Up too early. Today is gym, yoga then a long dog walk later.

We're just off for the usual swimming lessons / return library books / pick up some fresh bread for lunch.

This afternoon I'm going to a reunion with the parents from DC1 old class (they all went to secondary in September). We're starting off in a park and then for dinner at a local pizza place. So excited to see all the kids and how they've grown and the parents too. It was such a lovely class.

Today, we travel over to Manchester to see Limp Bizkit tonight. I also hit my 2nd trimester today, so I am hoping nausea and fatigue will ease soon!

I'm in bed. Had a busy night shift.
DP is taking one dt to football, the other dt is up and doing some voluntary work with his youth group.
I'm just waiting for the house to quite down then sleep sleep sleep.

We are going shopping, this is a once every 2 years kind of thing for me and DH but he desperately needs some new stuff so as we are off on holiday soon I've agreed to help him.

Should be nice as I get to have a look at what's in the shops too and he gets to have some new bits. This is a man that will wear his clothes until they fall to pieces!

Then we are out for a meal later and a catch up with old friends, so I'm excited for that.

I have to fit in 2 long dog walks between this as well.

@BitOutOfPractice sounds great. I need a holiday but have to wait a few months!

Anyway morning all, I'm not up to much today. I was so embarrassed yesterday as I had arranged for a lady to replace the buttons on a coat. I have the buttons. Can't find the darn coat (packing to move). So coat searching and being tired today. It's exhausting moving, you find one thing then lose something else. I have labels so I'll pack a couple of boxes up and be clear what's in them.

We are all going out tomorrow to celebrate my Nana’s 94th birthday! She wants to take us all out for Sunday lunch and then to our house for presents.

Been kidnapped by the dogs, they won't let me escape the bed 😆. Got a few things I need to do today. Dump run just so I can go to the recycling shop to get some more garden pots. Help my DD fill in a load of paperwork for her new job.

I’m on the sofa under the dog. I feel pretty crap as I self medicated with a bucket of wine last night after an awful awful day.

Feeling pretty low, but will drag myself to the gym and hopefully that will cheer me up and I can go for a run and take the dog out.

No doubt we’ll see the in-laws too as they’ve been away so it’s been a few weeks.

Might take myself off to watch Bridget Jones so I can have a proper cry 🤣

Morning all. I’m hoping to get DD to come shopping to get some shorts ready for our trip at Easter. Also need to deliver a birthday present and some Christmas presents, ridiculous.

Morning everyone! Still in bed but I’ll rise soon to start my day. A friend and I are heading to a farm shop for lunch and to catch up. I’ll likely head to Tesco afterward for a top up shop then home to clean and do a bit of work. Dinner tonight will be a gammon/ham. I need to figure out what to serve with it.

DD is at her Dad’s. I’m doing some chores and tidying today then meeting my friend for a coffee and a big gym sesh followed by a lounge around the pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Then back home for a film. Any good film suggestions gratefully received 🙂

we are the other end of unexpected lie in so of course I am awake but will resist making coffee for an hour might indulge in reading in bed for a bit then get on with garden clearance and whatever the teens want to do (buy new football boots)

feeling the need for a mini decutter

We got back from holiday yesterday so I've got a mountain of washing to deal with, DH is off to play golf and the dogs are already staring at me in hope as we did a LOT of walking last week. Hoping to see DC and grandkids today, really missed them all last weekend - our home is the family meetup place on a Saturday. Best feeling in the world when they're all here.

I just woke up, I'm lying in bed with the cat in a pool of sunshine coming through my Juliet balcony doors. I'm pretending I'm on holiday.
I've been at work for the past 3 days some back in tomorrow so it's relaxing, batch cooking and washing for me. Might see if I can tempt DP out for a walk and pub lunch though.

I’m taking my DM85 to London to see The Lion King. DSis will meet us at St Pancras, we will have some lunch and fizz then onto the show. I’ve booked the Ivy for dinner. It’s my DMs late birthday pressie (birthday was in January). We think she has dementia now so we are doing nice things whilst we can.

Morning all! Quite a quiet chore-y morning planned here. The house is a mess and there's a few admin things needing done. DS has a friend coming over later and I'm off out to an over 30s disco, which should be silly fun. It finishes at 9 so I'll hopefully be tucked up in bed by 10 to fend off the inevitable hangover.

@JingsMahBucket I'm off to the farm shop as well! Only 2 mins walk.

Probably parsley sauce with gammon and tons of fresh vegetables and potatoes?
