Good Morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

Good morning from the train to London King's X! I'm on the way to the applicants day at Westminster Uni with dd1 who wants to study Law there.

We were up super early, fed the kittens, sorted washing and left the house at 6:30am <yawn>.

Plan is applicants day until noon ish, then wander - Camden maybe? Or somewhere else? I fancy a market to wander if anyone wants to recommend somewhere!

Dd2's stayed at home with their dad - they were asked to come with us but 2 hours mooching without purpose & a 7am train did not appeal 🤷‍♀️

She probably needs a slow day anyway after Gracie Abrams in Leeds on Thursday, then an exam yesterday 💤

I was up super late today which was lovely - I woke about 8.30 then stayed in bed till 11am reading my book.

Then up and had an everything shower and made a big brunch. Now watching an episode of Adolescence which I’m finding very uncomfortable.

Off out later with friends for St Patrick’s day. So dinner will probably be a kebab 😂

Afternoon! :) busy day of miscellaneous jobs today. Had a nice chilled start playing with DS while DD and DH slept in. Then took DD to dance, got my eyebrows done, picked up a prescription, then picked up DD in time for the hairdresser arriving at our house to give everyone a haircut.

Just eating some lunch then I need to go to the tip, do the food shop and clean my car out. Kids need baths then DD and I are going to stay with my parents tonight and watch Gladiators. Looking forward to a glass of wine with them once DD goes to sleep!

DDs have all had tennis this morning. DH and I had a coffee while we watched with DD5.
DH & BIL taking older DDs and DNieces to watch football game while SIL & I have a lovely glass of wine or two and keep an eye on littlest girls. We will all have dinner at the hotel next to the stadium.
It’s always lovely day, girls can meet with their friends from school and adults can relax! Looks like the sun is going to shine all day. ☀️

Today I had a long lie then my Tesco order got delivered around 11am. Put that away and in the middle of it ended up clearing out and washing out cupboards. I found items that went out of date in 2021 gave the kids a laugh. Me and dh then done a quick cleaning blitz downstairs. My shark hoover brushes were matted with hair so cleaned all that out. Upstairs isn't so bad might do that tomorrow or through the week. Just had a cup of coffee and a lovely ham salad roll. Listened to Avicii whilst doing the cleaning after watching the sad documentary about him last night.

Really want to cosy up on the couch and watch a old movie but I've arranged a walk with dd and the dog at 4pm. Tonight's plans are maybe Paella for dinner and a movie with dh.

I’m super late posting today. A quiet day for me, pottering and housework. The bread maker is currently rattling away making dough for tonight’s pizza. Ds has a friend over and dd is doing physics homework upstairs.

It’s very pretty outside so I may take the dog out again later. Happy Saturday everyone!

Had a busy morning, so I'm late posting. I dropped DD to work for 8.30. Went for breakfast to wake up properly and make my shopping list for the week. Picked up some bits for my costume for the local parade on Monday (St. Patrick's Day). Then did my usual supermarket shop. Popped into a friend's house briefly. I called to a local shop for a few bits I didn't get in Tesco. Having a cuppa now and then I'll blitz the kitchen. I have leftovers from yesterday for dinner, so saves me cooking. I'll put my feet up later and watch a few episodes of 'Victoria' with some wine. It's a long weekend here, so all is good in my world.

Just got back from the pro-Palestine demo where we met some lovely people as always, weather was kind, the crowds turned out and the drumming was energetic!

I was supposed to go with my family to watch DD's volleyball matches today but I'm ill with some very bad cold, or possibly the flu, so stayed home on the sofa moaning and groaning and binging Adolescence.
